My Hyundai Ioniq 5 has a Drive Mode button that allows me to chose between Eco, Normal, and Sport mode very quickly. It essentially changes the throttle response, and sport mode also puts the Ioniq 5 in full time AWD. In Sport the accelerator is much more responsive and in Eco the acceleration feels more comparable to an ICE car (slower acceleration). Being that the all electric version of these Scouts is expected to have a sub 3.5 second 0-60, the ability to change the throttle response is a must - especially if you are traveling with passengers. I like being able to change modes quickly, especially when merging on the highway, I’ll go into sport mode to match the speed of highway traffic instantly. I’m sure other EVs have a similar feature, but I’ve found the Ioniq 5s to be very convenient and fun to press. It makes me feel like an F1 driver. It would be awesome if the Traveler had a similar configuration. I doubt the people that prefer the Terra would advocate for a drive mode selector but curious to hear the community’s thoughts.
