CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
So @Scout_Lookout and @jdm111er.28078 and I are the only 3 forum members that have said they are going that I know of. Anyone else joining us?
Would love to. But I'll be headed to Dollywood that next week and then Charleston later in September. I'm trying to at least drive by the factory and smell the Scouts growing....
FYI, itsa gonna be packed in Columbia. SC students move in this weekend.

Will both the Traveler and Terra will be an available at the Fireflies game? This only mentions the Terra: https://www.scoutmotors.com/events
@CP1@scoutmotors posted in my thread the other day.

So the Traveler concept will be there. It’s been re-themed apparently, so not Pacific Mist anymore. I’m so excited.

Now the Terra that’s going to be there will not be the ones that’s on 37s, according to him. My understand is at that stadium Scout has a presence and they have “bucks”. So essentially a vehicle with black windows and no interior. Someone went to the event earlier at the stadium and they posted some pictures. I was trying to find them and wasn’t successful, but I think it’s the Terra buck in Silo.

If you aren’t already following @CP1@scoutmotors and @Jamie@ScoutMotors they are great. They keep us updated about things like this.

You really should get off the interstate there and take a casual drive by. Obey any signage and don't cross any secure areas. The Training Center parking lot is a nice viewpoint if still open to the public. This is a photo of the Training Center from the road between the interstate and plant site.

The plant is just beyond that hill. Here's a photo from the TC parking lot. These are shot from my cellphone, so they are not the best. I'm sure @cyure 's husband probably has a Hubble Telescope lens on his camera that would even penetrate the walls of the plant. :ROFLMAO:

I'm honestly surprised they're already doing a new take on the Traveler. Makes sense comparing it's popularity compared to the Terra, but daaang that's fast.
Well they had blue, then white then spirit white. It is weird. We all want to see new colors but it’s like (2) events then new color, another (2) events another color …..
Assuming it will be new color but curious if it will be a wrap or a new paint color-is pacific mist still hiding underneath? @cyure or those going will need to find out

Don’t forget the original reveal Tahitian Red too. So 3.25 versions basically. Definitely am curious to see what they do.

The timing of the new reveals has been strategic. The white was a surprise, but it allowed for a quick turn around with the 250 anniversary edition. Scout obviously knew both were coming and took advantage of revealing the white as a stand alone, while it was really just half way finished. Not much different from adding the ghost rallye striping to the OG Tahitian. Keeps everybody engaged during the long wait to delivery.
