From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Look, I don’t know where the fanfiction gets kept on the internet anymore (I’m of generation fanfiction dot net and that’s long gone and beyond that I have no idea and haven’t looked for any more Law and Order vampire fanfiction since then), but I could be inspired to write this super-weird Scout Motors fanfiction starring like the three or four names that I know, and it will feel incredibly uncomfortable to write, and probably be super uncomfortable to read for the people involved, but might be hilarious for us to talk about.
I really hope your Uncle Scottie has adopted all of us as his nephews and nieces. I had a brief opportunity to speak with Uncle Scottie at the Blythewood event. Such a cool dude.
Although, I'm guessing Uncle Scottie is probably younger than I am, but it's still a possibility if it is an adoption, right?

Oh my goodness! We just passed a jackknifed semi. Thankfully it’s on the other side of the freeway and the traffic is stopped. That’s the first time I have ever seen that.
Thanks. 585 miles to go and the hubs just took over. It’s this twisty mountain road that’s down to one lane because of construction and it was foggy, not ideal but Thunder is doing great!
The event really did look amazing and while I'm sad I wasn't able to go, I'm happy knowing that when I did see them they were at eye level so I could easily see into them as well as touch them if we wanted, instead of them being on a pedestal.
But also looking at the Scout IG there appeared to be a few Youtubers, (KimJava, RealMomcarreviews, etc) there as well so it looks like we are going to get some new YT content to check out which is awesome.

Okay ay the Buc’ees we saw a trio of trucks.
Not quite sure why they all looked similar, but they were something else.

We just stopped at a Loves in Indiana. We didn’t even get gas. Practically every pump was a car just parked next to the pump with no one in it and not even getting gas. We have plenty to go to the next gas station down the road so we just left. So rude!
Sounds like the public ev chargers around me. Yeah i don't care about the car security systems. I check them all out just so i can confirm my decision of reserving the harvester.
Not going to lie, your response has me scratching my head, trying to figure out your logic....
Most convenience stores, such as Wawa and Sheetz, that have EV charging have signs stating the stalls can be used for short term parking (5-30 minutes) as they have to have a certain number of spaces to meed code.
A lot of people treat fuel islands the same way as well, they park at the island, go in the store, get what they want to eat, pay for that and possibly the fuel with cash and then come out and MAYBE pump gas, or just leave. It's mildly annoying of course when it's the before or after work rush period.
It stands to reason that people will park their EVs at chargers as well, go into a store and then come out and leave without ever using the charger. As EVs become more ubiquitous on the roads and chargers become more widespread, you'll see this behavior more and more.
Comes down to there are a lot of inconsiderate people out there who only think of themselves... The type of energy, gasoline or electrons, is irrelevant.
Saturday morning was dedicated to media so should be a bunch for sure
I’ve never had the problem with people at gas stations because of the rule of no pumping your own gas. The gas attendants will pretty much get in your vehicle and move it if you aren’t out in time, I’ve seen gas attendants get pissed at people for coming out a minute after the pump ended, so most get filled up and then park in a space and go in, or reversed.Not going to lie, your response has me scratching my head, trying to figure out your logic....
