From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Good morning! I just realized I was posting about our NC trip in my SC thread. My goodness. One more day till our road trip!!
I heard as a penalty you have to buy everyone a beer on Saturday.

Back on the road. 369 miles to go. The hubs got jerky and I got candied cashews and pralines. They had pralines!!
If you like sweets, I highly recommend the Oreos Muddy Buddy flavor. Picked up a bag on a lark on a trip a month ago & destroyed them.
We are in Tennessee. We have gone almost 500 miles already.
I read that Volkswagen subsidiary battery plant in St Thomas Ont, is delayed until 2029. Will this delay Scout production?

Dear Scout: I don't want my car asking me crap like this. I don't want it recommending that I stop to pee, eat, nap, pick up grandma while we're passing by or anything else.
Ours shows a little coffee cup and has 3 choices.

Enjoy them as artwork. They're beautiful and simple! Looking at the tiny bead at the edge of the frosting, I'm wondering how they applied it. Maybe @J Alynn knows since he dabbles in cookies.
This is another thing I'm having FOMO about is what fun little Scout goodies you're going to get
All by hand. They use a thicker outline icing then “flood” the middle with a runnier version of same color. And believe it or not (I don’t do this) you can use pencil to lay out the design. I use edible markers if I’m laying out a design. I do my cookies different than most because I don’t like that thick icing but that is the process. Some people use dehydrators to dry the icing faster. I do t do that either
