  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I watched this yesterday. It was good! I’ve always enjoyed listening to interviews with Chris Benjamin. I can’t to see his and his team’s designs in person one day!
Be sure you do, because every one of us that have seen the concepts in person already have all said the same thing, they are 10 times better in person!

I like how he made it very clear that they are not Luxury, and that they are a Truck. If it was luxury it would have independent suspension all around
I totally agree with that comment. I definitely don’t see Scout as a luxury brand, I see them as a brand that wants to produce high quality vehicles inside and out. However, I feel like the concepts (the interiors specifically) lean a bit luxury-esque. I understand there is probably a method here from Scout to make these trucks stand out during the concept phase to help drive engagement, but I’m really curious how the interiors, and even exteriors will look with base/mid tier trims and packages. Now, at the same time I could be misinterpreting what I’m seeing. Are those materials actually luxury or are they just well built? I feel like in today’s market so many vehicles rely on cheap plastics that even the slightest upgrade in material might make someone say this is “luxury” even though it’s not actually a luxury material…it’s just solid materials built the right way.

Having seen them I don’t think luxury. I guess the way I would explain the feel is a higher trim package. So two tone seats I would expect to be in a higher trim package. The wood trim I would expect in a higher trim package.

As for what the “base trim” would look like I really feel like if you put a smaller wheel and tire package on Mountainside and a non-steel bumper that, to me, would be the base exterior.

I just keep reminding myself $60k starting price is not “cheap” by any means and I’m expecting even the “base trim” to be well appointed.
