Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
If it's the Nissan color I'm thinking of, that is a fantastic color. I've also recently fallen in love with Ford's new Marsh Gray color after seeing it on a Ranger Raptor at my local dealership.
I really like the marsh gray. Fell out of love with bronco after our issues but that color made me stop shortly after it came out as it caught my eye. And it you made Marsh gray metallic it would be close to the old Nissan color so you probably are thinking same thing

It's a concept from 2014(!) that Mini dusted off and presented in a new color.
Thanks. I actually recall seeing that one before but completely forgot. I remember that rear long fin

The guys over at TFL like to complain, though we all do in our own ways and on specific things, the guys at TFL love, older cars and trucks. Which is why it’s frustrating to hear them complain about the removal of switches and buttons that aren’t necessary like in the Silverado EV it does not need a light switch. Dial knob is 90% of the people that will be driving. Will never touch the headlight settings. Same goes for a push button start EV does not need a start button you get in with your key foot on the brake. The vehicle turns on when you exit and leave with the key. It turns off, but they tend to complain about that because when they are shooting their videos and they leave the key in the vehicle usually because it’s not their vehicle, but they still like to complain about it and maybe that’s one or two of the guys over there at TFL but when they made their video saying goodbye, cause the buzz it was purely because of depreciation they had intended on keeping it to do a length review but scrapped that idea early because of depreciation and while I fully understand that they are a company so they have to put money first just something about the video didn’t sit right with me personally
I will say I know we’ve debated the push button start but the new forging video about sounds noted sounds with start button several times so I think it’s here to stay. I don’t mind it but guessing some of you won’t care for it 😀

I don’t think it’s necessary so I’m hoping on Gen1 it’s either fully optional (as a purchase item on the order) or bypass-able in software having spent plenty of time in Rivian I Prefer to get in my vehicle be on, or wake up when I approach with the key and start the air/heat and initiate once I open the door, so all I need to do is buckle in and shift into gear
