What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I would like dual sun visors. My early 2k cars have them. I noticed many new cars don't. I sure is sweet have a sun visor on the side to block the sun on the driver's window, and another for blocking the sun through the windshield.
Okay I have never seen this. So one on the side as well?

It's the same as a normal visor, just with a smaller one underneath

Haven’t seen those forever. Of course as long as the front one slides back and forth and it swings that typically handles 98% of use cases
As someone who drives all day, I do occasionally miss the double, but I also only ever put my visor when it's needed, I hate having it open and it does, unfortunately often block traffic lights when at the front of the pack. I wouldn't mind seeing them, but it's not a big deal if they don't come Pack

Not sure if it is the right thread - but another tread just said the Scout will be Level 2, not 2+ driving assistance. I really, really hope that is not the case. I have level 2 already on an 8 year old truck, and do want level 2+, and VW already has it in it's stable. It could very well be my deal breaker. And honestly, I don't want an Audi, I want a Scout.

I'm probably the only one here, but I want a heated AND ventilated front bench seat. Just because I want the function of a bench seat doesn't mean I want swamp ass.

My wife's at the point in life where she's almost always hot. This morning's COLD temperatures are the only exception I've seen in recent memory. She's only warm this morning. :ROFLMAO:
Oh I know how she feels. I was like on fire hot, for a year I was sleeping with ice packs. If it was a bad night the first one would not be cold anymore and I would have to get a second. My husband said I radiated heat. Doctor put me on HRT. Now instead of on fire hot I’m just mildly warm from time to time. It’s not any fun whatsoever.

I have never wanted ventilated seats. I definitely want them now. 😹

With ventilated seats in one of our cars now, I know it's an unspoken requirement for the next vehicle. I just don't want that requirement to prevent me from having a bench seat.

Here in a Florida summer when it is so hot you are always looking for the shaded parking spots regardless of the exterior color of your vehicle the cooled seats are a must. We never turn them off.

Pretty sure I still have the vinyl perforated sear marks on my legs from old Beetle seats in Miami. Nowadays, tinted windows help, but most of the sun comes through the windshield which we're NOT allowed to tint.
