Trying to understand size, especially interior.

I am coming from an F150 but have recently owned GMC Sierras as well. I'm a big guy and love the size of a full size truck, especially the rear seats leg room of the F150. I get that the Terra is going to be smaller, but trying to understand how much smaller...? Their website has some dimensions, but exterior. The width feels very similar to the F150 but the Terra seems to flare a bit where the F150 is pretty flat. Is this truck firmly in the midsize space or somewhere between midsize and full size?

They’ll be in Denver last weekend in May.

Majority of the dimensions are within an inch or two of a F-150.

What’s unusual is the photos and first glances make it look smaller than it really is. In person it’s a BIG truck. It’s not a 2500 dually or oversized tow-er but it’s more than capable as a work truck

Welcome to the community. There’s 2-1/2 years of info on here and the search is very helpful.

A great follow is @Jamie@ScoutMotors He keep us updated on things from the SM side.

I have reserved a Traveler so I’m not as versed in the Terra.

The concepts will be at IHS Nationals in Springfield, Ohio June 13th to the 15th if you are so inclined to take a summer vacation to Ohio to see them.

Yeah, the Lighting (and I believe all modern F-150s) have flat floors in both the front and rear cabins. The Lighting does have a console, shifter, etc., in the space where the transmission hump would be. The rear of the crew cab is just cavernous, especially with the seats flipped up. If the doors opened to 90 degrees, I could fit my massive ICECO VL60 litre fridge in the rear.

Welcome and thanks for posting. Are you thinking Terra vs Traveller or traveler vs Yukon? If other vehicles-yes, some time ago I posted a bunch of overlays. If you search my threads you should be able to find it. Did it about a year ago if timing helps

Basically the Terra is the size of a F-150.

The Traveler is the same width as a Toyota Sequoia. The length of the Sequioa is just 1 inch longer than the Traveler with the tire carrier. I test drove a Sequoia for reference. Basically the last 17 inches isn’t car, its tire carrier. If that makes sense.

Images overlay? Not exactly but comparing the reported dimension of the Terra to the Silverado EV is about 3 inches of difference. The Silverado EV is a massive truck

Thanks, I will search your old threads! I was thinking about Terra vs. other full size trucks. I currently drive a Sierra 1500 and just trying to visualize it better. I think it's a couple inches smaller all the way around, but I just like having a visualization of it.
