From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

So far a very, very long day. So we left at 1:45 am CST and checked into the hotel about 5:15 EST.

I’m reassuring myself by telling myself that next month there’s the possibility of having too much to drink and then getting to corner such as @JAlynn and his good lady wife and causing them to endure like 30-40 minutes of really uncomfortable and extremely personal anecdotes, maybe medical in nature (I’m not ruling it out, we’ll see where my head’s at) in surroundings that neither is familiar with at all, so I’m trying to not feel too bad about missing out on seeing a bunch of people I’d love to see in person all breathing the same air all at the same time when I don’t know the chances of that happening again might be, nah.

Scout has said that the delay will not affect its production of the Scouts.

I'll also point out that one of the reasons the factory is delayed is allegedly to wait for new battery technology. In that podcast/webcast Keogh was on, he said Scout did not intend to go with new cutting edge batteries because the current ones are tried and true (they have enough to worry about without worrying about weird new batteries). If this is the case, Scout will have to source them elsewhere for a while.
I should also add that it appears PowerCO has plants in Germany and Spain, so it's possible for Scout to still source them from PowerCo, just not from the Canadian plant. With the current trade war with Canada, and Trump's threat to impose a 50% tarrif on Canadian auto parts starting January 1, at present, it would be cheaper for Scout to source them from PowerCO in the EU anyway.

Hello! The reception at the event was not ideal. We just got back to the room and are coming up for air. Can I just say it was amazing. So many things to see and do and listen to. The camera pictures are going to have to wait till we get home. We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning I cannot recommend a Scout event enough. Everyone is so nice and you never know what little tidbits you might pick up or who you might see.
It’s a wonderful event. Every parking space taken. That surprised me.

My coworker here in Charlotte drove around for 25 minutes, finally gave up and went home
I was concerned I was going to get towed and only stayed an hour.
