Now we saw signs for two Buc-ee’s when we did the drive to the experience center. The route is essentially the same, just about 40 miles shorter.

Besides being giant and having lots of gas pumps is there a reason to stop there over a different truck stop. I typically look for Loves Truck Stops. Their bathrooms are always clean and they have decent snacks, like grapes and such.

Not overly wowed by Buccees but bathrooms are best I’ve ever seen and we spend 10 years traveling for archery all over the place. People say the jerky and brisket are amazing-haven’t tried either. Their beaver nuggets are a great snack and the candied nuts. Both are certainly not healthy but good crunchy snacks

I'd go ahead and lock it in. Temperatures might go up ~2 degrees between now and then, but forecasts in this area are rarely wrong about this type of system.

I hear it’s an experience and if you can, you should stop at Buc-ees.

I just looked at the events thread. The RSVP button is gone for this weekends event. I hope everyone who intended to go RSVP’d. the instructions in the confirmation email indicate to bring that email to the event for admission.

Buc-ee's has a huge selection of road-trip worthy snacks, and you'll miss out on the experience if you already have snacks. But, if you skip the snacks in Buc-ees you'll likely save about 30 minutes , so you will have to decide what's more important.

This time we don’t have that extra day so I won’t be posting pictures till we get home and my husband has a chance to edit them and add our watermark. I really appreciate his hard work in all of this. Without him you all would get some phone pictures and that’s it.

The drive is 750 miles in a single day? You'll definitely want to stay away from the snack section of Buc-ee's then!

I fly out Sunday the 4th for my annual work training event.

Yes! We did 790 each way in a day for the SC event. We leave really early. Like 2 in the morning. My husband drives the first leg. Then about 6 we go to Starbucks and switch drivers and then switch as needed the rest of the day. The SC trip was 2 am CST and we got to the hotel at 4 in the afternoon EST.

After this trip we will have gone more than 4000 miles to these different Scout events, which on paper sounds nuts but it’s been tons of fun. We are having adventures. Seeing different parts of the country. We enjoy each others company what can I say.

That's my kind of driving right there! Though I'm the sole driver and don't stop unless gas is needed... Food and human byproducts are at the mercy of the fuel range. That's fine in the Toyota with only 200 miles of highway range, but it might suck in the Scout if it truly gets 500 miles of range!

Yeah I don’t know how I would feel in my 350 mile BEV driving straight through like that. I mean it was about 11-1/2 hours of drive time and it took us around 13 so technically plenty of time to charge, right?

@Jamie@ScoutMotors any other instructions for Saturday or are we to just show up with our email confirmations and smiles in our faces?

The questions I have are;

1. is this an all indoor or all outdoor or mix of both event?
2. Do we need a blanket or chairs like an outdoor music events?
3. I know it says “free”. Is everything free but Scout merch that’s for sale?
4. Any specific parking instructions? (I got my first parking ticket ever at the SC event. I don’t need to repeat that.)
