What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Integrated rachet straps built into the bed of the Terra would be a nice touch, suprised we haven't seen this happen yet in other tuck models. I have been on the fence about installing these on my Tacoma but can't justify the price of 4 for north of $400 for convivence. My issue is I usually store behind my seats which is a hassel with a carseat installed.

Would they hold up over time? Even if they are out of sun would heat and humidity break them down vs keeping them in the truck? Just curios

I just use rings and keep regular straps nearby. These have a 1,300+ lb working load, so pretty decent.

Sounds deadening in an EV is always a huge compromise. Sounds deadening is HEAVY which kills range. That being said, tire choice will make the most difference. ATs are going to be loud no matter what. I'm also curious if Scout is planning to do some active sound deadening in the headrests. My Tesla has this but I haven't done back to back to see if it's really doing anything or not. My Model X is generally quiet (but it has all season tires, not all terrain).

Speaking of headrests- pretty much every vehicle I've had has an overstuffed headrest that doesn't provide much padding. My FR-S was the exception, and it had a soft headrest that was really comfortable. I pretty much never lean my head back on the headrests in vehicles because they're uncomfortable and my head bounces too much on it when driving down the road.

So, in light of that, I'd like a headrest with some actual give to it. I'd also like the usual height-adjustable, and ideally, angle-adjustable headrests that are also REMOVABLE should I need to do so.

Any other headrest requests? @cyure mentioned the seat trim not pinching hair, but I suspect the headrest shouldn't either. My hair isn't long enough for that to be an issue, so I don't even know if that's a thing or not.

Do adjustable ones that slide up on the two metal posts give enough space for your hair? You're tall enough that I'd think it would work. Probably not helpful for someone 5' tall though.

Not really. And don’t even get me started on the plastic claw clips you wear in your hair. Those are dangerous to wear with a headrest. If you are in an accident you basically created shrapnel right by your head.

A group of women designers designed exactly that for Volvo back in 2004. The Volvo YCC had headrests designed specifically with pony-tails and the like in mind. The other thing they did on that concept car was have a hood that was locked and only a mechanic could open it. So you know, some good, some bad, haha.

Bummer to hear that. We drove the Lexus GX version and almost bought. The roof rack was so loud I didn’t even notice the general noise so now I know. Anyway, thanks for posting and welcome aboard.
