From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

Seems like every other truck is lifted there. The year my daughter had the Bronco at A&M it looked dwarfed half the time

This is my current rig, and maybe 30% of the time my eyes are level with other truck hoods. So yea, absolutely.
If the Scout had had those weird door handles I don’t know if I would have put in a reservation. I’m so glad it has real door handles inside and out.

I really like the proportions of my Ridgeline. I have broad shoulders and the interior cab width of the Ridgeline sold me versus the mid-sized competition. In bed trunk is awesome, and I also like whatever the bed material is made of ... has held up great for 12+ years now with very heavy usage.
I was hoping they'd try a BEV version of the Ridgeline ... could be a nice vehicle.

U.S. charges 2 former VW engineers with insider trading on Rivian joint venture
Federal prosecutors released an indictment July 24 charging the two engineers, Michael Stamp and Michael Plank, with conspiring to use confidential information they accessed through their jobs at Volkswagen about joint venture negotiations with Rivian.
Prosecutors said Stamp made $250,000 after Rivian’s stock price jumped 23 percent following the announcement, while Plank made $50,000. Plank is also accused of giving the information to a close family member who made $12,000, according to the indictment.
Prosecutors said internet searches made around the time the venture was unveiled show the two men knew their conduct was illegal, with Stamp searching for “statute of limitations insider trading” eight days before the announcement and Plank’s close family member searching in German “how is insider trading prosecuted?” afterwards.
Stamp, 31, and Plank, 45, both of San Jose, Calif., were charged with conspiracy and securities fraud and face as much as 25 years in prison if convicted of the most serious counts. They are scheduled to appear in federal court in California later July 24. Lawyers for the two men couldn’t be immediately identified.
