From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Agreed. The anti matter blue on the broncos was a little too dark so there is a fine line where the blue turns black-especially in low lighting

so far, all solid-state batteries and claims are vaporware. What happened to the Donut Labs battery? Right now, they are doing independent lab testing which can be skewed. I won't believe the technology until an external test happens.Will someone that knows more about battery chemistry than me please tell me if this is vaporware.

This is real and on schedule.
Testing in vehicles will take a couple of years. Then it'll take a couple more years to get the production to an acceptable yield capacity.
Every realistic solid-state manufacturer has been saying early 2030s for availability in high volumes for about 5 years now. And they're moving along at that pace.
This doesn't mean every (or any) new EV in the US will have these batteries in 2030. We may not see them until 2035, at best.
So what you are saying is when I buy my next Scout in 2038 or 2040 it could have a solid state battery. And it feels so weird to type those years!
About the time the new smaller, lifestyle Scout will be ready to debut to the U.S.
I plan on getting my wife to love my Travler so when lifestyle comes out I can gift her mine and get the new one.

I consider this newsworthy: I had a dream that we were driving home and I took a wrong turn down a cobblestone road and ended up tucked away on the side of a mountain where there was a secret Scout Motors popup happening where they had a dozen different travelers and terras in different colors and configurations with some crazy accessories.

I remember there was a really nice blue similar to the Rivian Blue, a seafoam green truck, and I guess what I'd call a "desert camo" traveler with a roof tent accessory and a bunch of other outdoor style accessories (a hammock swing, a grill that fit into the frunk, and some other stuff that I can't explain)
