We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. I don’t believe it. For one reason, you have massive battery technology companies with HQs in China and American along with in Germany. And they never managed to make a Solid State Battery for mass production. But now I’m supposed to believe that Donut lad whose motors alone are in maybe a total of 2 products has made a SSB that’s ready for production. The author has it in for Scout. Every one of his articles is prejudiced. It says he was a press secretary for one of South Carolina's Governors. He comes off as very angry and bitter. I won't fault Scout (or any other company) for asking for more money or a beneficial deal. We didn't ask for anything in this case (and that headline, content and site are just patently biased). The county had cost overruns on their end doing work to prepare the land to build a factory.
