Since this has developed into a posting our mascots thread: Rocky, the 70 lb All-American Rescue Mutt. He's looking forward to testing that back bench seat and slobering up the windows.

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Oh wow! I don’t think I’ve been to the MoS in 20 years because they hadn’t refreshed their permanent exhibits since I was a kid, computer stuff included.
Now I want to go check this out! It’s a really fun museum. My favorite exhibit was the photo wall where you could take a snapshot of your silhouette giving the finger and your parent or chaperone would get mad at you.

I like the idea behind a "All-American Rescue" as VW rescued the Scout brand.
I think this idea deserves development. A loyal, faithful, fun, always there for you, companion… just like Scout. Great idea!

I completely agree! And whatever is developed needs to be on merch and we need a stuffie version!

It would be awesome to be a brand ambassador for Scout! I would like to throw my name into the hat!We have a working name but can't say yet.
I think " Scout Trail Guides" would be cool if it isnt copyrighted.
I would personally love to host some offroad events at Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer Tx with Scout, and do some classes on recovery, trail etiquette, and spotting.

@Jamie@ScoutMotors would you happen to have any updates on the brand ambassador program? And would there be an opportunity to apply and become one? I’d love to help represent the Scout name!
Nothing formal yet. As we get closer to having actual vehicles that look like Scouts, that will probably make more sense.
One of my hopes is to someday find a way to pivot my business to running planetary geology / astronomy / photography / off-road workshops a few times a year.
We’d take our 4WD EVs out into the desert Southwest for a week of astronomy, geology discussions, including comparisons with other planetary surfaces, photography sessions, and 4WD skills classes.
Some day…maybe. I worry that my capital costs and insurance costs would be high enough that it’ll always just be a dream unless I can find some investors.
