With microinverters much lower in price these days, and the ability to automatically and immediately shut off the power generation of the solar kit in case of a power outage, these should be easy to make safe. I've seen these all over Germany and other EU member states. I hope we can get these going in the US.Interesting.

Battery advancements as EV rage slows down in the US. Here's my take, Hybrids... But not only hybrids, instead car manufactures can take these battery's and use them in the standard 12v system in a gas powered car, and use it as a way to show case how good the battery technology is, leading to people wanting to test a hybrid or EVs. Because everyone knows the pain of a dead battery, so why not show off the new technology, and show how long they last, making someone possibly say hey these batteries are really good. Today also marks the death of California's Clean Air Vehicle decal program which has been successfully running since 1999. For those who don't know, this program encouraged people to buy clean air vehicles (EV, natural gas, hydrogen, hybrids early on, etc.) by granting them access to the HOV lanes with a single occupant. It worked extremely well but unfortunately the federal government didn't renew this program same with the EV tax credits so it dies today.![]()

Yeah-that would bug me. I have two stickers for my Scout.
