From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

Thanks! This Scout originally came with the Rallye wheels. I had to put those white ones on to move it around. But I really like the stance that the white ones give it!
I’m not as familiar with the original Scouts. We never had one growing up. I’m going to have to look up Rallye wheels. Those look cool too. Wheels make the car as far as I’m concerned. Thanks!

I agree. Was just by a local apple orchard in near full bloom but no where near as pretty.
Now I’m thinking when I get my scout I’m gonna trespass on an orchard and do a drive between photo shoot. Wonder if the Scouts would fit down an apple orchard row? Hmmmmm!
Cars need photoshoots. All my cars get photoshoots now.
American Graffiti week is coming up here in Modesto California! In case you don’t know what that is, here's a little history: Modesto is the hometown of George Lucas (the creator of Star Wars), and it’s where he set his seminal car-culture coming-of-age film, American Graffiti. Every year here in Modesto, we celebrate California's classic car culture with parades, car shows, and cruising all week long!
Here is the list of events! Hope to see some follow Scouts cruising this weekend!
June 4: Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame & Park N' Shine - Downtown Modesto, 5 PM.
June 6: American Graffiti Parade - Cruise through Downtown & McHenry Ave, 5:30-8:30 PM.
June 7-8: American Graffiti Festival & Car Show - Modesto Junior College West Campus Saturday: 9 AM-5 PM | Sunday: 9 AM-3 PM. Admission: $10.

It’s a Scout Comanche. Only 1,500 were made with that color scheme. Very few left still driving on the road.
