My son has this very complaint about hot hatches. All the good ones are overseas. Drives him nuts.Yep, instead we keep getting bigger, more expensive trucks.

The Every1 has some of the same design problems that are were present on the protoype Buzz. Removing the seams between panels, and reducing the gaps between others make for a more streamline appearance - but they don't seem to follow over very well into production. I liked the look of the prototype Buzz MUCH more than the production one. The changes were not all that bad, but they just added up to a completely different feel for me. That said, the nails in the coffin were the price and range. Hell even if I could get over the price, the range was not consistent with the road trip vehicle I felt a VW Bus should be. Its range really did not fit in the US market niche. Perhaps it will develop it's own niche, but it's not the peg to fit in the whole I had carved out for it.
Not gonna lie on this but I think this is probably the best looking VW we have seen in a while. Besides the Atlas which I think is cool not as cool as Scout Obviously. But this gives VW golf vibes, with some Rivian mixed in. I think all the ID vehicles looks wack, but this one is what might crack VW back up in sales. But as usual everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

That it would be. The only reason i think its not is because it’s hydrogen powered. And the world is very far away from hydrogen.Crazy if it is real.
Same here.I hope it’s Dana just for historical reasons.
This is not related to the current administrations policies, but we have the Chicken Tax to thank for that.Yep, instead we keep getting bigger, more expensive trucks.
Besides the Chicken Tax we also have some pretty strict car safety regulations that some of the trucks don't have over seas. This is not related to the current administrations policies, but we have the Chicken Tax to thank for that.
Its why our domestic truck brands arent incentivized to innovate.
Many truck owners would be just fine with a diesel Hilux that gets 25mpg and runs forever.

He goes over that at around the 7:50 mark and explains why vehicles have gotten larger due to emissions regulations.Besides the Chicken Tax we also have some pretty strict car safety regulations that some of the trucks don't have over seas.
that's why I'm confused on how Telo is making it to the market. They can brag all they want about the crash structure, but nothing is going to slow down a car coming at you at 50mph hitting that horribly designed front. He goes over that at around the 7:50 mark and explains why vehicles have gotten larger due to those regulations.

Pirelli Launches New Scorpion XTM All-Terrain Tire That's Also for EVs
Not only is this new Pirelli all-terrain tire quiet on the road, but it is also durable, athletic, and stylish. It might come on your next new truck or SUV.www.caranddriver.com
I like the quiet claim, if it is real. All-terrain tires can be very noisy at highway speeds.Good looking tires as far as side treads go
I generally like Pirellis. This tire might even be made in their Rome, Georgia factory. But, sadly, Pirelli is majority owned by the Chinese now. I hope this is not the choice for Scout.Good looking tires as far as side treads go
So the KO3s aren’t for sure yet? And are we thinking it will be something like a Wrangler where you can choose a street tire versus and off road tire. I really dislike street tires on a vehicle like this. I know off road tires are more noisy on the road but it needs off road tires as far as I’m concerned. I should have stated more clearly, that I hope the Pirellis are not an option. The KO3s are definitely on the list. My tire choice is an aggressive looking on road AT or All Season. I hope it is a Michelin. So the KO3s aren’t for sure yet? And are we thinking it will be something like a Wrangler where you can choose a street tire versus and off road tire.
