Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

This Brilliant Dodge Charger Daytona Feature Should Be On Every EV

When you turn the Charger off, a screen appears on the main driver-facing dashboard that not only tells you how much charge you have left, but how long it would take to charge to 100%—if that's where your charging limit is set. Not only that, it tells you approximately how long that would take on each plug type

It turns out the Charger isn't the only Stellantis EV to do this. The Jeep Wagoneer S, which shares the STLA Large platform with this car, apparently does the same thing when it's parked.

Looks like we may have just found a new kind of state roadside service. You know the "Roar Warriors" that stop and help change ties and get fuel for people on the side of the freeway. We can add this item:

Meet the 2026 GMC Sierra EV: Over $25,000 cheaper and even more capable

The 2026 GMC Sierra EV starts at $64,495 (including destination), or over $25,000 less than the 2025MY.

We'll see where they go with rebates and whatnot next January.

May be my next truck, because I'm beginning to fear the Terra may be further away than 28.

This is cool. The more camp stuff they better. Looks like you won your poll. Glad your sticking around. Not sure your soul could deal with leaving 😉
Woooo Saaaaa!
Its never too late!

I'm only kidding, but that's what I was going to be posting today if Jamie and a few others didn't convince me to stay.

please explain why you're fearing this, we all have been waiting long enough already. I'm still a firm believer in the 2027 production start.

I was never a believer in a 27 launch lol, but I figured late 28 maybe.

But, for me, I'm out, looks like in the next year there will be plenty of trucks I can grab in my price range, no need to wait years.
