Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I hope Scott is proud of how he shaped Audi, because they have been killing it since the R8 days when he was Chief Marketing Officer. If it shows anything it means that we have one hell of a leader here at Scout Motors.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a huge Audi fan and owned one for awhile. But $137K, gas sucking V-8, not truly an off-roader and same 0-60 as the new Traveler. I can buy 2 Scouts for that, spend 60% less on fuel and still sing karaoke to my favorite 80’s tunes while racing in near silence. Seems like a no brainer. I I certainly know which will be cheaper to maintain :ROFLMAO:

Well the rs q8 is the Lamborghini urus but not in sheep’s clothing so of course it’s gonna cost lol. But yes I agree with your statement about it the Traveler being way better of a purchase than it no matter what power train option, Scouts are way better than it in all aspects.

And the RS Q8 wouldn’t be my first choice for a Performance SUV, it would be a BMW XM. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If I were to get a performance something it would be the Audi RS 6 Avante. But who in the world needs a $150,000 station wagon. That’s insanity.

And imagine this, your BMW making the XM which sold the very least amount of cars yet you still made a new model year.

Those XMs are something else. I started my adult car life as a BMW girl but somehow switched to a Wrangler and now I’m Scout all the way.

All my friends that come up to me asking about first cars to buy, since they all i work for BMW and I’m a car guy. The first brand out of my mouth is always BMW, and i give them these reason…

1. Expensive but will last with the correct maintenance

2. Huge aftermarket support

3. Its a BMW

4. They’re like race cars but for the street

And then I send them over to the dealership I work at and yes its an actual dealership all the cars are fully negotiable. Unlike most dealerships.

Technically still a BMW girl. Our Supra is a BMW in a Toyota suit. Toyota purists were upset it was a Toyota engine and interior. I was very happy. Love the BMW interior and the B58 engine is awesome with that ZF transmission. I love our car.

I love pulling up in my G80 next to Supras and absolutely destroying them and then when I make the comment about it being a BMW in a Toyo Shell. People get so pissed. Back like a year ago my good friend bought one and our closest Toyota dealer is 25minutes away, and I said to him bring it over to BMW and ill service it and he flipped out about it going into every reason why its a Toyota. So I popped the hood and pulled that stupid plastic environment ruining piece of plastic off the engine and I started pointing at every BMW logo.

Ha! I am so happy it’s a BMW. Especially after I saw the interior on the GR Corolla and the GR86. No thanks. Give me those BMW seats please and thank you.
