Beautiful car. I saw they are going away. How sad.I bought this Lexus LC500 with the intention of keeping it for the rest of my life. I love naturally aspirated engines that rev. Toyota's 2UR-GSE 5.0 liter V8 is from a collaboration between Toyota and Yamaha and they'll be going away soon.
Here's a great compilation of what the car sounds like from the factory. It's not the fastest car, but it's an aural delight.Beautiful car. I saw they are going away. How sad.
Well that-in convertible form was my second choice. That is a lovely car. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve always wanted a Porsche 718/Boxster since they first started manufacturing them the Lexus would have gotten my vote as well. Enjoy every minute of that beautiful car.I bought this Lexus LC500 with the intention of keeping it for the rest of my life. I love naturally aspirated engines that rev. My best friend and I talked about "splitting" a Cayman GT4 earlier this year, but Porsche stopped taking orders. Since they've announced they will continue making performance versions, it might be something to revisit in the future . However, it does seems like all they care about now are higher profit special versions. The Porsche 4 liter 6 cylinder is a honey of an engine though!Well that-in convertible form was my second choice. That is a lovely car. That is some sweet music to the ears. Scout should bottle that so we can have some V8 sounds on our EV, for fun. Here's a great compilation of what the car sounds like from the factory. It's not the fastest car, but it's an aural delight.
So long as it’s an on and off option. Most of the time I wouldn’t want it but next to some punk kid it would be killerThat is some sweet music to the ears. Scout should bottle that so we can have some V8 sounds on our EV, for fun.
My point exactly. Just for fun.So long as it’s an on and off option. Most of the time I wouldn’t want it but next to some punk kid it would be killer
Sweet looking ride. I am glad to see it used as intended,I'm probably in it - my 2017 Land Rover Discovery HSE Td6. It has been rock-solid reliable, it goes everywhere, it's supremely comfortable on the Interstate, and it cleans up very nicely. Some 18" Compomotive wheels, 70-series AT's, rock sliders, and a bash plate, and it is lives up to the heritage of the name and more.

At the (almost) top of the trail into Yankee Boy Basin near Ouray, CO - the jeep behind mine was leaking air from its left rear tire...I'm on factory 20's with 55 series ATs.. My wife is like "can we go now?"

Oh fun! Welcome to the community.Since I note the OP said ‘vehicle’ rather than ‘car’ I’m tempted to say P-51B (or X-wing if I’m being completely ridiculous) but ok, assuming car. I’m a sucker for early 80’s/90’s lambos, but honestly I’ve always wanted a rebuilt/refurb Pantera. I think I’d take one over the Lamborghini, same reason why I think I’d prefer a P-51B over a D - it’s (a lot) less common. And they’re both real purdy. Anyone have $250k they’re willing to part with? Pretty please. View attachment 9475View attachment 9476
Fair point-you found the loophole. But can you take it to the movies and park it? Dang that’s a nice LJ! I’d love to own one someday.I already own it, though it would need some work to be reliable as a daily again after 19 years. 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that I bought new.
