Welcome and thanks for postingAdding support for an optional swing out on the Terra like the traveler. Seems like I heard the traveler’s spare holder will be removable. Would be nice to have that option for the Terra.

Man me too! That’s wild and I want it for my current truckThat is the first time I have ever seen a swingout replacement tailgate.
That is freaking awesome!
I’m having the same dilemma. I have 33s on my JK, but have always wanted 35s, but really it’s a looks thing for me. I have made a lot of decisions seeing them in person at Nats, but that’s one decision I haven’t made yet. The concept just looks amazing on those 35s.I am good with either size that matches my choice out of the factory. I haven’t decided if this little rig needs 35s as I run just fine in my TJ with 33s. I have also learned that I only want to carry a spare when trailing. For me, any non-trailing day usually means commuting inner city so a tow truck is close by and I would rather change the tire at home with the lift than on the side of the road. I will put the spare in the bed when needed.
For what it’s worth, your TJ has a much shorter wheelbase than the Traveler so it may need 35”s to clear the same obstacle you crawl over on 33”s in the Jeep. This would be even more of an issue with the larger Terra.I am good with either size that matches my choice out of the factory. Agree, the TJ is not a fair comparison with the Traveler. For the Terra, it would mostly be a ranch / farm truck so 33s should be just fine in my opinion. But since you don’t have to regear when you change tire sizes, you could run 33”s for commuting and have a set of dedicated 35” offroad tires you throw on it when you’re hitting the trail.
And seeing it in person with 35s it’s gorgeous! Which is why now I’m back to thinking maybe I “need” 35s.Agree, the TJ is not a fair comparison with the Traveler. They haven’t shown what it looks like without one or what the spare option is if you don’t have a tire carrier. Another one of those faith and patience items. We just have to wait and see.Perhaps a stupid question. I recall the rear tire carrier is an option on the Traveler. What is the spare tire option without it?
At reveal it was mentioned to be under the vehicle as a drop down. But nothing was elaborated on.Perhaps a stupid question. I recall the rear tire carrier is an option on the Traveler. What is the spare tire option without it?
And I believe it was said that a 35"s will not fit under the Traveler, only a 33"s.At reveal it was mentioned to be under the vehicle as a drop down. But nothing was elaborated on.
I believe that is what I recall them saying as well. And I think they mentioned the rear carrier would have flexibility so that 37’s ‘might’ also fitAnd I believe it was said that a 35"s will not fit under the Traveler, only a 33"s.

Unless you can change the tire carrier clamp I don't think a 37" is going to fit.I believe that is what I recall them saying as well. And I think they mentioned the rear carrier would have flexibility so that 37’s ‘might’ also fit
It will go under if it’s a 33” AND you didn’t select the Harvester option.Perhaps a stupid question. I recall the rear tire carrier is an option on the Traveler. What is the spare tire option without it?
Yes. I forgot to mention this.It will go under if it’s a 33” AND you didn’t select the Harvester option.
If you do choose the Traveler with Harvester you’ll probably need to choose rear tire carrier even with 33”. There is nowhere else for it to go.
Something was mentioned about an extender but it was just chatter so you could be rightUnless you can change the tire carrier clamp I don't think a 37" is going to fit.
