Scout's Have a Great Day campaign is live

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Today we started our newest campaign celebrating the first hires of nearly 4,000 future Scouts in South Carolina. We created a commercial to celebrate:

It is worth pointing out that we used no professional actors. Everyone in the commercial is either an employee or a community member.

To celebrate in the community further, Scout Motors is buying 4,000 cups of coffee in the Columbia/Blythewood area at participating coffee shops starting this Friday. More information on our coffee giveaway celebration can be found here:

Well done as always. Such a simple tagline. Now you really need that airstream with Scout coffee franchise 😀

This is incredible, SM is selfless in their approach making it about the people, community and employees.

What can I say, another home run. Outstanding.

Modernize it for the EV era and get an Electric, Lightship EV RV with solar roof!
I thought about that but the idea of a “retro” airstream with a modern remake of a retro vehicle seemed more interesting and better character-IMO 😀
Have a nice neon sign that says “Scout Coffee” and its reflection off the chrome surface. Would feel throwback like the new Scouts and wouldn’t offend the got to use gas crowd

To add on to my previous comment...

This is a company I can support. Helping the community, not paying people to fake for attention. And lastly supporting my favorite thing... Coffeee!!! I eat, sleep, and breathe coffee.
Good points about community and not hiring actors! I dig it. (y)

I just had this ad come up during a YouTube video. That was pretty cool! (y)

Edit: I rewatched the one posted here and I swear they’re different. The one from YouTube was about having a great day too though. Is there already more than one ad from this campaign? This is the first time I wish I could somehow track down and watch a YouTube ad again. :ROFLMAO:

I’ve said it a few times, I’m not a big EV fan. But there’s something different about Scout. It feels like Scout actually cares, and that’s not something you see much anymore. I wish Scout was closer, it would be an honor to apply for a job, but the commute from Montana is a little much. I look forward to watching Scout grow. I’m optimistic about the future, and maybe some day taking delivery of my Traveler with the Harvester Package.
