From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Just got the email about this meetup and it says that the reservation holders can show the email and get an exclusive gift! My sister is going because she lives in AZ and I don’t but I don’t know if they’d let her claim a gift for me (she’s not made a reservation yet) but I can’t wait to see what it is! (Maybe the poster?)

The lady in charge of that station told me they’re working on an actual Scout LEGO set but it’s not ready yet! I can’t wait!
@Jamie@ScoutMotors ; A lot of the events to see the Traveler and Terra in person seem to be in the south or out west . Are there any plans in the making for events in the Midwest?…Speaking from Ohio.
Welcome to the community. When I saw the Traveler in Chicago in December I asked Jamie about more Midwest events. Jamie stated that they would be coming back to Chicago and doing it right. I sure hope that’s the case. I can’t wait to seen them again!
They really just started to “tour” this year, probably just need some time to nail down the right venues in places
And the biggest barrier is they only have 2. Just wait till they have a whole fleet of preproduction or production cars. They will be able to go everywhere.
Last year both the Traveler and Terra were in Springfeild Ohio at the Scout nationals! I am sure they will make there way back out to the midwest in the future.
No plans for ohio this year as we had the concepts out in Springfield/Dayton area last year. But we will continue adding new dates as opportunities come up. Once we're building early production vehicles, we will step up tours considerably and you'll finally be able to sit in them, slam doors and fully check out models and trims.
