Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
It doesn’t have to be a book. Just some narration with your photos would be awesome.

Hey we can ask you questions and you can answer them.
Could you see any more of the factory off in the distance from where you were?
How many employees were there?
How long was the tour?

Everyone chime in. What are your questions?
OK, I'll give it a go with this method...one question at a time.

Yes I could see massive building in the distance, but they were at a higher elevation and difficult to see. I wanted to use the overhead plan views provided by Scout along with my photos from the Training Center to orient where I was yesterday, but I haven't done that yet. I'll post some photos and let y'all guess along with me...
First the view of the Training Center looking from the Interstate side of the building (East Side I think...I have to verify)

The front of the Training Center is on the right in this picture above, where the concepts were displayed. The next photo will be looking to my left from this view (looking toward South toward Columbia).

I believe the bridge construction in the distance is crossing over Community Road (I-77 is further to the left).
The photo below doesn't show much but I'm attempting to show the direction (West?) I am facing toward the plant. On the right is the back corner of the Training Center as shown in the first photo. So after this photo will be several attempts to get shots of the plant. For homework, we are to determine from my photos, what part/parts of the plant we are viewing. Yeah, ok, this is my lazy way of finding out. ;)

Here's another looking toward the plant from where the large "Scout" sign was in front of the Training Center. This gives some perspective of how far the plant is away from the Training Center. The previous pictures I posted were zoomed in quite a bit.
Other folks probably have some better shots, so maybe they will pile on.
