Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Dar Green is my 3rd choice.

How many colors will be offered?
For an upcharge can we have the color we want?

Welcome to the community! We aren’t sure how many colors will be offered yet. All we “know” is that they have said assume black, white and silver. I would assume Scout will be like any other manufacturer and have a range of colors that they offer and some will cost extra. None of us see them doing what Porsche does where you can get any color you are willing to pay for.

Welcome again!

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for sharing your first post. I believe it was said at some point that up to 12 colors “could” be offered. At this point we aren’t sure on colors but it was implied black, white and a gray or silver will be offered. Then they showed us the Pacific mist (your 1st and 2nd choices)c Tahitian red (the rust color), silo green on the terra truck and the original terra was a slate blue tone but in matte which likely won’t be offered in matte but maybe as a gloss or metallic version.
Early on we asked about a custom color program and were told not likely. And for the premium coat you could likely wrap it in any color at a slightly lower price.
Check out the forum and always ask questions. Many of us have been here forever and if we know we’ll share and if we don’t we will speculate for days 😀. The search tool will be very helpful if you are looking for specific info and follow @Jamie@ScoutMotors to always get the latest info. Enjoy!!!

Unless you have rendered something different that color is Pacific Mist Blue, it changes a lot in different lighting.

Very much so. Here are some of the pictures my husband took of it in Chicago Different angles and lighting change that color a lot.

It can look silver, blue or green.

I've owned an "89 FJ-62 for over 20 years that takes me anywhere I want to go but not as a daily driver. Have a '24 Land Cruiser for the daily haul that I can't wait to sell off to get my hands on a Traveler-Harvester. I wish you guys nothing but the best as you start to ramp up production and I'll be in SC in a shot when my number comes up. I really like the formation of the community and Scout owners you're willing to take suggestions from. Am looking forward to you putting out the accessories list and details on how we'll be able to kit out our Scouts.

Cheers!
