Thanks for the confirmation. That fabric top is a big concern of mine. Might be great for 5 years or so but I just can't see how it would hold up like a glass or metal roof over the long haul or how it would manage road noise and weather insulation for that matter. I'm also concerned about the repair/replacement costs down the road. It looks really good though! So tempting. Who knows, maybe they have found a wonder material. Constant garaging might be the trick for future cabana owners. Did you get a look at the material itself? Did it appear sturdy?

It’s appears sturdy to me and I would imagine they are going to do everything they can to make sure it’s as reliable and leakproof as possible. My Scout will be garaged so I’m not as concerned. I’m trying to find a Jeep Recon with the one touch roof to test drive. An EV with an open top. There’s one on the way to the dealer near me. Let’s see if they actually call me when it gets there.
