What would be some trim packages on the old Scouts that everyone would like to see as an option on the new Traveler and Terra? I’d personally love to see an Aristocrat package!

Fun idea! That reminds me: I was thinking about grabbing 3D-printed Scout II badging off of eBay for my Prius for the lulz (save the good stuff for restomods; I’m not a monster).
Ever since I saw the Spirit of ‘76 Scouts, I thought those were super cool. I am not a jingoistic person, but those were very classy and understated. It’s a bummer that 2026 will have come and gone so as to tie in with the semiquincentennial of the US.
I have always loved the Spirt of ‘76 Scouts. It is a bummer that if they were to do something like the Spirit of ‘76 it would be missing the semiquincentennial. But they could tie in those graphics with the 2028 Summer Olympics like they did with the 1976 Winter Olympics. I think it would be some really cool marketing seeing the USA Olympic teams cruising around in new Scouts with a similar graphic! That reminds me: I was thinking about grabbing 3D-printed Scout II badging off of eBay for my Prius for the lulz (save the good stuff for restomods; I’m not a monster).

Its got to come back in 2026 on one of the concepts which by then will be production test vehicle's probably. Bring it to the 200th anniversary of the US in DC. @J Alynn and @Jamie@ScoutMotors my outfit is still happening if the Scout are there. Still waiting for the CMF Team to contact me about making the Cactus leather insert for the hat.I have always loved the Spirt of ‘76 Scouts. The old school guys all used to tinker. Same with archery. Nobody does it anymore. Too easy to just go buy whatever is advertised as better rather than actual athletes making things betterWhich came first? The red, white and blue K2 Three's, or the red, white and blue Scout?
Either way, that was a match made in heaven back then.
I would credit the K2 Four and Bode Miller for completely revolutionizing the entire ski industry. Funny story... I was a young ski coach and was at Sugarloaf USA during the JO's in 1995 or 1996 when he shocked the entire ski world on "parabolic" skis, which lead to the entire re-tooling of ski manufacturing and shaped skis. It was wild to see. Now that guy could be a baddass Scout ambassador...
I took great pride in my Gary Fisher mountain bike designed by Gary Fisher. I’m kind of curious to see what he does with e-bikes thing. The old school guys all used to tinker. Same with archery. I have a GF hanging in my garage next to my road bike. But alas I’m too old for tumbling on trails so probably should try selling it. Maybe I’ll just permanently mount it on top of scoutI took great pride in my Gary Fisher mountain bike designed by Gary Fisher. I’m kind of curious to see what he does with e-bikes thing.
Aw, you’re never too old to break something!I have a GF hanging in my garage next to my road bike. But alas I’m too old for tumbling on trails so probably should try selling it. Maybe I’ll just permanently mount it on top of scout
but sometimes you're too old to recover from breaking something!Aw, you’re never too old to break something!
That’s my fear. The older you get more stuff just breaks. 2 years ago I broke my foot going up the stairs-literally-same skill I’ve used for 50 years. Just broke!Aw, you’re never too old to break something!
True: that’s how my grandfather died at 97. Not from a broken leg, but the pneumonia he got while recovering from the broken leg.but sometimes you're too old to recover from breaking something!
Honestly! I know can’t sleep without my knee pillow or my back is killing me.That’s my fear. The older you get more stuff just breaks. 2 years ago I broke my foot going up the stairs-literally-same skill I’ve used for 50 years. Just broke!
That seems to be the way it is. Crazy.True: that’s how my grandfather died at 97. Not from a broken leg, but the pneumonia he got while recovering from the broken leg.I easily thought he’d live to be over 100 otherwise: he survived a zillion other illnesses, but the pneumonia got him. He loved nothing more than the most grueling day of work.
