Ranking current known colors

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

If you had to choose today based on colors we know and B/W/G?

1. Tahitian Red
2. Pacific Blue Mist
3. Silo
4. Terra Reveal blue-gray

There's just something different with the Tahitian Red that stands more to me than the other colors.
Agree. It’s my favorite but can’t vote for it because I want to be somewhat different and I am guessing T Red will be the most popular color

To be honest, none of the revealed colors so far have done much for me.

But of the colors revealed I preferred the first colors the prototypes had. The refreshed colors both went the wrong direction for me.

So I’m screaming PBY (pale butter yellow) every chance I get.

@dearbulls you can scream REB (robins egg blue) every chance you get. 😹
As well they should but this poll was intended to get a sense of which colors people prefer that are currently shown-not the full color wheel-and I don’t really care-I posted this to help SM see which of the colors people liked best and what the various feedback might be

Same, so I’m still at Tahitian Red.
I voted white because I "assume" its hard to screw it up, and is something I usually like.

But if we had to do a color we've actually seen so far, it would be:

Tahitian Red
Whatevertheheck matte blue
Pacific mist (I actually like the color in some lighting, but not in others)
Poop Green (Sorry, I mean Silo Green...)

With Pacific-do you like the bluer tone or the more silver tone?

I know you didn’t ask me, but I’m going to answer anyway. I wish it was the darker color in the pictures Scout posted inside the building and then in the sun went to the lighter blue. I don’t like that it goes to silver. So I’m Tahitian Red.

I liked the inside the building photos more. Where it is more blue-silver, than silvery-green.

But almost all of the photos I've seen of it outdoors have a lot of green in them, and apparently I have something against anything green.

🤷‍♂️

I’m not generally a green fan either but the silo is unique enough I’d consider it.

I literally cannot see anything in that color, other than some colors i discovered in diapers with my kids.

Probably weird expression of parental trauma, and now I have a "color aversion" or something like that.

But either way, I only see "oh, good, they offer this vehicle in poop green".

Or maybe my phone/monitors color calibration is messed up.

Its probably the parental trauma/color aversion thing TBH :D.

I feel bad for you as a parent 😀. In all my years I never saw anything that green (or sparkly🤣)

Sparkly, thankfully I can say "no" to.

Silo Green? Yes, definitely yes. More than once.

I've got one highly memorable/amusing story about an airplane flight, both kids, and zero changes of clothes. But maybe thats for another time.

Haha. Every parent has a story like that. Driving home. The dog started puking so the 2 year old in the back did and both of them kept it up till I got home. Horrifying.

My kids aren’t little anymore but I still want easy to clean seats. That one event swore me off cloth seats forever!

Oh the stories we can probably all tell as parents or guardians 🤣
