From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Super sleuth @OleScout DMd me the other week while looking for interior fabric for his Scout. To answer his question it was confirmed the swatch of houndstooth he found was indeed what was used in the new mountain side concept. The up close coloration-it’s even better in person

@Scoutsie and I are gonna have to pony up for this baby-perfect for our club. I mean hobby. Wasn’t confirmed but thinking this is for the traveler and maybe even fits in the backpack-but that wasn’t confirmed. @Jamie@ScoutMotors any confirmation on this concept?

Ok-onto the show. Silo green terra first. I didn’t take many as we’ve seen this a bunch. But did get an angle from the crows nest (ie-the upper bathroom hallway) but liked the angle. And don’t worry-got the trail version and part of the mountain side-see future images ahead

Now for mountainside-basic exteriors. And to note-great venue but the giant factory windows and dark interior made it hard to shoot-hoping @cyure ’s has some better but he even noted the lighting made it tough. Based on true color I’d call it a base of dark warmer gray (85%) with some brown mixed in and VERY fine gold flake. I’ve already said I don’t want neutral but these two concepts make me want neutral

On another note-I don’t know how bloggers do this day in and out. Crap it takes time 
I'm surprised the new concept still has the "pass-thru" sidelights / taillights. Wasn't it mentioned that probably wasn't going to make it to production? I like the look...but it may be impractical.
Interiors. Keep in mind these were up on 12-14” high platforms so not the usual ground lever so while the interiors are at eye level-I’m 5’-11” the other are all skewed looking upwards. These were my pre-Chris approved and escorted pics from down on the floor

Side note before next batch. Saw a kid (teenager) at one point today and I was like-he’s got to be related to Chris Benjamin-turns out it is his son-how cool, at an age when your kids think they know everything and their parents are the worst and here Chris was with his son seeing what he created-so cool!
