I'm glad SM didn't have a Superbowl ad...

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I saw during the game that it costs $8 million for 30 seconds.

I'd much rather SM put that dough into the vehicle. Period.

As a matter of fact, how's this for a commercial?

Black fades to Scott's office, and he comes in frame and sits down.

"We at Scout thought about buying a slot to showcase the Traveler and the Terra. We thought about showing you the interior(pictures/pans of the interior), the exterior(again pictures and pans), the Harvester Range Extender(again) or the various accessories and capabilities(montage of tailgate, frunk and dirt driving). We went over the numbers again and again, weighing if the 30 or 60 seconds spent would net us the additional sales needed to justify the expense.

But then we thought of you, the ones who have and will invest your time, effort and dollars in the Scout. The type of people you are. The places you will go, the things you'll see, the memories you'll make.

And if NOT spending that money will make it just that much more affordable, just a little bit easier for all of you to experience, then it was money well saved.

I hope you enjoyed the game. I hope you're safe. We at Scout Motors look forward to making memories, together."

I would rather Scout take the $8 million and decides “we can part with one base-model Scout in the color of a fart for forum member Scoutsie because she will be stuck paying the taxes on this anyhow and poor people deserve nice things and I bet she could be some kind of manager or assistant manager at whatever service center opens in her area, she seems personable, she’s probably worked a retail job in her life and knows how to read and use computers and is capable of learning new things and handles cash and responsibility and is ready to read highly critical and unobjective reviews about herself on Yelp, and even if we decide she is not in fact capable of managing a retail operation we will not call the police if she loiters in the café making suggestions about what kind of pastries and novelty lattes are most needed.” See? Did all that for ? and that’s why I am the kind of PIONEER you want on your payroll, my droogs.

Yeah I’m glad they didn’t waste money, but also all the ads this year sucked and Scout would have stood out upon the rest.

I dunno which Superbowl you were watching, b/c Kendrick Lamar singing from the hood of the new Scout was the highlight for me

A GNX yes-that one-NO. The whole floor was cut out for all the dancers to come up through and was mounted on a box. I was very saddened by them destroying that beautiful classic
No real GNXs were harmed in the making of this halftime show.

He also happens to own a real GNX, number 191 out of 547

Thanks for easing my mind and I can let the others I was with know that PITA (people ignorant to automobiles) know that in fact a GNX was not harmed ?
