If the Trail-Ready Traveler were a dog breed, which dog breed would she be?

Pretty self-explanatory based on the title of this thread.

What dog breed would the Trail-Ready Traveler be and why?

For me, Black Lab. I had a Black lab years ago named Kona. Big block head. Heavy for a lab. I have had dogs and soul dogs. Kona was one of my soul dogs and I still miss him. The Trail-Ready Scout has soul to me. She’s not just a vehicle. She has a personality and soul.

Surprised you didn’t say Schnauzer because they were bred for going out, searching and digging in to find the “unknown”. Also to flush things out (like rats)-hence the cut tails, nothing for vermin to grab onto. And they are very smart, capable dogs when trained properly-and that’s what I see scouts. Prepared to go first, search and return. They even served for the Red Cross.

It’s the size. Kona was just my big block headed dog with big shoulders. Plus labs are search and rescue, guide dogs, hunting dogs. They can do just about anything, they are just so smart.
