Exactly. Even the headlight components fit out like a rounded rectangular bezel like the old scouts. It’s the little details that just work cohesively in the big pictureEven the Front grill of the Old Scout, compared to the EVrill of the New Scout, all the design clues are there.
I’m not wondering so much as patiently waiting.the kia looks cheap and flimsy for some reason, but at least it's actually out there're, we are still wondering what's going on with our ride
That’s what I’m saying. There is actually a big difference between the two. Look at the space below the center screen. The Scout has obvious physical controls (dials, buttons, and switches).
You good? Or just a massive Debby Downer?just curious, what does the Kia have under the hood??? I know we have a frunk....for now...
na, just wondering what they have under the hood...you ok????...p.s. I have my 78 scout to keep me busyYou good? Or just a massive Debby Downer?
If you don’t like that Scout is 2 years out, then find another car to buy. Scout doesn’t need to tell us every lick of information, until they’re ready. That the glorious thing about being a private company, and not being publicly traded not having quarterly meetings out for the public. Is they don’t need to tell the public anything until they’re ready are ready.

Yeah actually i am. Im just wondering about you after seeing a few comments you also have made on other threads thats all. And that you made the comment of “I Know we have a frunk….for now…” that seems like your annoyed about having a frunk.na, just wondering what they have under the hood...you ok????...p.s. I have my 78 scout to keep me busy
Good point. Scouts just feels right because at reveal they showed original Scouts and then the new to show how they took the linear theme and certain elements and carried them across 40 years. These other vehicles don’t have that vehicle history/connection so I think that is why it seems better and original to the others that seem like copycat effortsThere is actually a big difference between the two. You are Mr. doom and gloom. Your passive-aggressive frunk comment is obvious. You constantly complain in your posts, often about things that can't be changed. I'm glad someone finally called you out.na, just wondering what they have under the hood...you ok????...p.s. I have my 78 scout to keep me busy
This topic comes up frequently, however I have to speak out on it from time to time just to get it off my chest. I wrote my state representative again last night and will continue to voice my opinion of DTC sales in SC until my new Scout is in my garage. Unfortunately, in South Carolina, citizens do not have the power to initiate a referendum or ballot measure for a vote on state law. It is one of 24 states that does not have the citizen initiative or popular referendum process. If a referendum could make it to our ballots, I am quite certain our franchise laws would get changed. As it stands, only our legislators can initiate statewide referendums. The following article is well written and helpful in building a case for DTC in any states with similar franchise laws. Please keep putting pressure on our lawmakers. It all hinges on whether SC changes their anti DTC law or not.
After watching that hearing in the SC legislature eatlier this year that Cody Thacker and several others attended, it sure looked to me like the dealer lobby has a tight stranglehold on the legislature.
OK boys, or girls don't get you panties in a bunch, deal with it!!!...called me out, wow them fighting words where I'm from,ez tough guy..You are Mr. doom and gloom. Your passive-aggressive frunk comment is obvious. You constantly complain in your posts, often about things that can't be changed. I'm glad someone finally called you out.
That is a great article, thanks for sharing it. I’m unclear though if the ban is for SC residents only, or includes those of us out of state who will come to pick their Scout. This topic comes up frequently, however I have to speak out on it from time to time just to get it off my chest. I don't know if it is possible, but if non-SC citizens can express their desire to pick up their Scout in SC and tour the area it may help our state leaders to hear from the outside. If you can 't write directly to our lawmakers, maybe through other channels like state tourism...

If there is someone knowledgeable on state law, maybe petitioning our state leaders to get this on our ballot and let the people speak. A petition from Scout Motors or other auto manufacturer will not get the same results as a citizen led petition.
My understanding is only SC residents. My understanding is there’s ways around it for SC residents. That is a great article, thanks for sharing it. I’m unclear though if the ban is for SC residents only, or includes those of us out of state who will come to pick their Scout.
