It is a crazy test. But, yes the battery retaining 95% after that was impressive. That’s impressive

ExactlyI just don’t see it being worth Cupra coming to the US, I just don’t think it is needed the only thing is maybe it could sit between VW and Audi but I just don’t think that is a big enough gap to justify bringing a whole new brand to the US. Since I don’t know what else would be done with it
Do we really though? Hasn't seemed that way in the past few years.Americas domestic manufacturers have gotten lazy and us as the consumer win, when there is more competition.
Federal EV tax credit gone! Now EPA "California emission laws" going next. Seems the playing field is even now for EVs. If they are so clean, they should be selling like hot cakes now!
Competition is a cornerstone of capitalism.Do we really thought? Hasn't seemed that way in the past few years.
Gas cars can become high horsepower low gas mileage. Big roaring V8. Making the EV be the better choice environmentally but not in ways of fun, thats how Jamie.Even playing field in what way? We subsidze oil and gas and water and corn and on and on.
Well maybe VW should have advised Cupra come join the market in the us, but seems they are being a bit on the commi side of the spectrum reducing competition...Competition is a cornerstone of capitalism.
With such uncertainty in the market I think they are taking a wait and see stance. Maybe they will look at this again when things calm down.Well maybe VW should have advised Cupra come join the market in the us, but seems they are being a bit on the commi side of the spectrum reducing competition...
Thats what we should hope. The Automotive market is not easy to navigated. I know that from working in BMW NA HQ the past few months working in R&D reports for the new klasseWith such uncertainty in the market I think they are taking a wait and see stance. It’s hard to get excited about spending that kind of money on ‘just another car’.The vehicle comes in two trims: Origin: Starting at $89,900, available in 2027, with 19-inch wheels and black exterior & Signature: Starting at $102,900, available in 2026, with 21-inch wheels, rear-seat screens, and color options (white, Tidal Gray, black). They are entering a crowded luxury EV market. With only 300 miles of range they could be at a disadvantage. We shall see.
Seems cheap. So what would you do? Add the one back or remove all? Not being combative, in fact I appreciate how you keep the Scout conversation focused by pointing out our wild speculations. ;-)Even playing field in what way? We subsidze oil and gas and water and corn and on and on.

maybe read it again before basically copying and pasting the same things about subsidies. When this was about the EPA removing the "California Emissions Regulations". And on how that is the replacement for the Tax credit being removed. Which that alone should make a push for more people to buy EVs since now cars don't need to meet regulations.

Absolutely, both much better choices, if you are looking for something in that high of a price range.Seems cheap. Lol
I would rather a Lucid or a i7 over this anyday.
