That's like a golf cart with a body. Might give the G-wagon golf cart a run for its money. For those who like Japanese Kei cars and those who want a Scout metro of sorts here’s what it could look similar to. Not coming to the states but knowing @LastDayScout has been pushing the idea I think this could be another path SM takes to capture the urban dwellers and small businesses who have deliveries or even retro’s metro as a food truck of sorts (think cupcakes, not full blown kitchen

I think this is great! Seems adding an external Battery Pack is harder than they thought. This reminds me of the factory lightbar that had to be installed after buying due to regulations, that then tesla sends you to a third-party shop that mounts the lightbar, but the catch is that you have to wire it. I actually test drove a Yugo back in the day. Felt like a car made of cardboard.Maybe we’ll get a reboot of Hugo the Yugo?
I think Time voted the Yugo "Worst Car Ever"I actually test drove a Yugo back in the day. Felt like a car made of cardboard.
I was at the auto show once sitting in a Yugo and one of the reps came and asked me what I thought and I basically said this thing is a piece of crap in different words. When we were walking away my husband said didn’t you notice they were filming you? Guess I didn’t make their highlight reel. Ha!I think Time voted the Yugo "Worst Car Ever"
Yeah I mean that's cool but they aren't really doing anything all that special, they're basically just throwing more power at it.BYD's new Megawatt charging proves that 5-minute charging stops are possible. And China will get there first.
Agreed. People get all fired up about super fast charging but the grid is not built to handle megawatt swings in demand hundreds of times per day. The only way to achieve this would be to have large battery packs at the charging site that could dump power quickly and then slowly recharge from the grid in between charging sessions. But that adds a ton of upfront costs plus maintenance of the batteries.I build and fly FPV drones and we've had those types of C-ratings in lipo packs for drones for years. Put enough of those cells together and push a MegaWatt at them and sure you'll have ridiculously fast charging times. The challenge is to actually be able to reliably get MegaWatt grid connections for a widespread charging network and to ensure the cells survive years of that type of charging.
