Here’s what I find interesting about this entire Audi using Scouts platform.FYI ROMR posted a new video on YouTube today. Watched it on my TV or I would drop the link. Talking points about Audi using Scout and the some Recon talk and some talk about the new backpack on the traveler
Yeah- I think you are pretty close. I’d say 12-18 months if all this pre training is occurring and they get enough 0 series vehicles out to fix kinks, etc…. The fact that winter testing was last year and presumably summer testing was this past summer that’s a huge advantage for learning how the new underbody portion of the vehicles will perform. Zonal is coming from Rivian so that’s established. I’m sure cross-over command functions and operating systems are being designed so it really ends up being mainly fit and finish and understanding whether employee training was successful. And hearing them say they are paying better than most would lead me to think people want to stay at those jobs and not fail so they think with their game planning they are probably further ahead than we realize. So(probably like most) forget that just because we aren’t seeing finished scouts doesn’t mean they aren’t grating away at these thingsHere’s what I find interesting about this entire Audi using Scouts platform.
1. It’s normally said not to buy into a 1st Generation model, but obviously Audi has huge faith in Scout, and so do we.
2. Audi’s Land Rover Competitor could be 3-4 years after Scout’s are started being produced, which would give Scout plenty of time to iron out any issues. While also being able to provide a Factory that can handle 3 cars at once. Because we all can expect the first 2 years to be a learning curve for Scouts factory.
If it’s 0% financing then there is no interest to deduct so it comes out to the same thing if the annual interest is below $10k, right? Now let's get 0% financing!
That’s what it seems to me. Because then there’s no interest. Which the tax deduction would take that interest and deduct it.If it’s 0% financing then there is no interest to deduct so it comes out to the same thing if the annual interest is below $10k, right?
I'm right there with you! Gimme a big screen!I’m old. How I Roll. You young whipper snappers and your fancy phones. Just wanted to watch the new Brick by Brick Scout video in large format

Crazy. It looks like a Dakar car. I hope they don’t change it too much. That would be fun to see rolling down the road.
It’s on 33s with lockers and skid plates. If it just looks like a Tucson when they are done people are going to be so disappointed.
It’s kinda cool looking but the name is all wrong.Crazy. It looks like a Dakar car. I hope they don’t change it too much. That would be fun to see rolling down the road.
The Jeep Recon and the Hyundai Crater both look like someone fed a generative AI a prompt of, “design an off-road SUV.”
I call SUVs eggs on wheels. The Jeep Recon and the Hyundai Crater both look like someone fed a generative AI a prompt of, “design an off-road SUV.”
The Jeep prompter’s cookies were filled with images of every other SUV from the past two decades. It feels like they just took things from every SUV and added the seven slots to the front.
The Crater’s prompter had just been marathoning Mad Max.
My eyes slip right off the Recon to any other vehicle nearby and get snagged in the terrible corners and crevices of the Crater.
Neither has soul or character, IMO.
That’s not to say all vehicles must be creatively unique. Most vehicles look like bars of soap to me. But it would be nice to have some unique-looking vehicles from time-to-time.

As on what my Uncle Scotty calls them, “Jelly Bean Off Roader”.The Jeep Recon and the Hyundai Crater both look like someone fed a generative AI a prompt of, “design an off-road SUV.”

The Hyubdai is real but they aren’t going to make it according to one of the posts I read. Just incorporate aspects of it to their XRT trims.Oh. Its real?
My LORD, I didn't even bother reading anything after I saw it. Just assumed it was AI generated in 20 seconds. So there you go!![]()
