CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
One more thing before I forget. After driving over 700 miles in 2-1/2 days I would very much like to request an adjustable dead pedal. Can even be a manual adjustment. Doesn’t have to be electric. Just somewhere to put your left foot on trips that long. Please and thank you.

I drove 8 hours to Padre Island with the family unit and service has been pretty spotty out there, but I have been refreshing this thread when I have a bar or two and am stoked to see the photos with the measurements.

You’re a real one Cyure.

Cheers from the beach!

I think they are but to me ghost means faint and Lighter where these are faint but darker. But my industry in design is different so I’ll go with ghost 😀
I agree. Usually a dark or lighter gray depending on the shade of the main coat.

I really want a white or cream paint with ghosted graphics that are a lighter gray depending.

Good morning everyone! What an amazing weekend that was!! Okay my husband had some thoughts on size and I used my handy dandy iPhone measure tool to verify. The reason she feels like such a BEAST is because there’s no dramatic change in elevation on that hood. I measured my Wrangler and from the bottom of the tire to the first bump I have on my hood is approx 3’9”, then I got the tool to go a little higher on the second bump and it was up to 4”. The way the hood was shaped it was hard to get the app to measure to the top of the highest bump in my hood. And my Wrangler is on 33s. So if she was on 35s or lifted at all the highest point on my hood is essentially the same height as the Traveler. To say I was shocked was an understatement. It just doesn’t feel as tall due to the elevation changes on that hood but essentially my Wrangler at its highest point is just as tall as the Traveler hood.

And as for height in general my Wrangler is 5’9”. Again on 33s. So only a 4 inch difference from a Traveler without a roof rack. And if I was running the 35s it would be even closer.

I think part of it is because we are all so used to what we drive that when we see something different it’s like oh that’s huge, but when you actually measure and compare it’s really not that much of a difference.

I will tell you all what my jeweler told me when my husband upgraded my engagement ring. We got married right out of college and had no money. When I was looking at new rings I said about one ring I can’t wear that it’s too big. He said “it’s only too big if someone else is wearing it” and that so true. As you get used to something and “wear” it, it’s just normal to you.

Okay I have to start by saying I must really like you people on here because I’m going to actually post pictures of myself. When I say I have never done this before, I mean never. Have never been on Facebook, etc. so here we go.

For reference I am 5’7”.

And I am a bit in front of it and the people there probably thought I was a loon but whatever.
