CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
They had quite a few really pretty vintage Scouts inside the building. This blue one is beautiful.
Just off the photo to the right I believe is a Scout 800. It appears to be the same color of my dad's Scout that he bought new. I'll have to dig up some old photos and find the right place to post them on the forum. I think most of the photos were black and white. Does your mate of 35 years possibly have a photo of that green Scout? BTW Happy Anniversary! My wife and I will be married 41 years one week after your anniversary on July 7th. I've had my 79 Scout even longer! I have to hang on to good things and good memories.

Boo. I just had him check and he does not. He zoomed in on that corner so we could see the color better. It’s a really nice color.

And then he remembered another one that was kinda minty green so he sent me that one as well.

Happy Anniversary to you too!! Wow 41 years, but doesn’t it just seem like yesterday when we met our mates?

Create a thread. I don’t think I have seen one for people to post pictures of their Scouts or their family legacy Scouts. That would be fun to see.

And just an FYI, that guy I’m married to just told me this is a prime example of why he needs a 100 megapixel camera (his is only 40). In addition to the new zoom lens he is eyeing. 🤦‍♀️

I really hope the backlight elements make it to production.
They keep referring to to it as the signature on a piece of artwork. I think that’s the story they made up to sell the idea of offsetting so they can have all of the safety cameras and bull bar and winch and not mess up the branding (like Bronco did) but I still love it and I’ll take the story as they sold it. Looked good at reveal 6 months ago and still looks good today

Not intending to highjack the thread but wanted to share Dad's old green Scout mentioned previously. It was a true workhorse. These photos from around 1974, I'm in the back with the 70s haircut and the one with the hammer (not sure what that was about).

A few more photos in color this time although not very good quality. Doubt anyone knew anything about megapixels back then. One photo taken with my grandparents and siblings.

I love those pictures. Thanks for sharing. They remind me of my own childhood growing up in the 1970s on a small family farm.

My dad used a similar type of plow to plow the field for our garden, but instead of a Scout, he used our horse Teddy to pull it.

Morning! Happy Monday! Officially Happy Anniversary to that guy I’m married to who took all these amazing pictures.

These next two are closeups of the door handle. I really like the detail and that they aren’t just flat. That little row of indents at the top gives it more visual interest.
