What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I’ll say it again, paddles for regen. I was very happy to hear at the auto show this feature is being considered. Separately do we know who is doing the sound system? Super critical for us audiophiles
Hell yes the sound system is critical! Personally, I’m pulling for Fender (already precedent for VW and mine sounds great) or Klipsch (not aware of them doing any car stereos, but I love my home system).

Now I gotta go find that other thread about it that @cyure mentioned.

My guess would be probably more since the weight of the battery underneath. If you role over your a dead man. But thats my guess i could be wrong.
Makes sense. However, as Tesla has shown with their anti-roll over videos a BEV with its extremely low COG is much less likely to rollover than ICE vehicles. But for manufacturers always better to be safe than sorry.

do we trust them? they do all in house testing. and plus, Tesla is just a massive coverup for the largest AI and Chip company in the world.

Klipsch does have sound systems in a few vehicles (Infiniti QX80, Nissan Armada, Ram 1500 Tungsten). It's a collaboration with Panasonic. The VW Fender systems are Panasonic systems tuned to Fender specs.

Was thinking the same thing. Just interesting if time will ever come for lighter weight and removable top as a two door
Jamie commented on tops last year when asked about Ford's concept topless retro Bronco.

While this is just a conceptual drawing from early on, they have always intended for the tow loops to be for recovery and frame-mounted.

That tuning piece is as important as the hardware itself. Please @Jamie@ScoutMotors make sure there’s a truly great sound system, not just a popular one. I would give up range if it meant having an amp & sub to help with the low tones.

Please make it as simple as possible with real buttons and switches..
most of these suggestions sounds like maintenance nightmares by year 5.
make this something that lasts 30 years.

As sucky it is not being able to remove the top, it does remove a lot of failure in seals. And plus no suv that the top comes off on looks good under, they all have massive cages over the roof due to regulations.
Broncos are pretty wide open. And looks sexy af. Missed opportunity to do the same with Scout would've been very nice

While I was a fan of the Bronco before all our issues and still think a 2-door hard top would be a great third, fun vehicle I think referring to it as sexy af is a big stretch. Again, love all aspects other than the problems but sexy was never a word that came to mind. This open top is Sexy af
