Girl Scout

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

I am currently a female steelworker. I reserved my Traveler almost a year ago. I am really hoping that that I can customize mine to reflect that I am a Girl Scout and make the 300+ men I work with jealous! I usually have the best truck in the lot already but I really want to make them drool. I know they will already be kicking themselves that I ordered and they didn’t but I am hoping to really lean into my Girl Scout theme. 🤞🏻

Love it. I call myself a Lady Scout and I’m so happy to have another woman on the forum. So many times I feel like the only one on here. I started a Lady Scout thread a while ago where some of us women posted what we want in our Scout. I’m really curious what you are looking for and also how you would build your Scout!

Welcome to the Community!

Love everything about this, and I think the fact that Scout has attracted a steelworker is right on mark with this incredible legendary brand. Heck who knows, maybe even a PR shoot with you and your Scout at work. We all know how much SM loves a good background story. 🤙

Hey, I’m a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, too! I think the biggest impact it had on me, apart from getting to try camping at different levels (from “pitch your own tent in the dead of winter” to “enjoy this smoky-smelling cabin with indoor plumbing and electricity” and discovering fireside snacks like Hershey’s Kisses on a saltine with shredded coconut, aka a Campfire > S’Mores any day of the week) and while I don’t plan on getting an airbrushed portrait of Juliette Gordon Lowe on mine, I feel like merit badges belong there somehow. I still have my sashes/vests somewhere. 🤩

So, what sort of customization do you have on your wish list? I know there are a lot of people here that plan to go with a full off-road build (I'm looking at you @cyure ). As a steel worker, I'm guessing you are aiming more for a work-truck build? In an ideal world where you could get factory or after-market options on day one, what would that include?

Off road appearance package. My baby is going to keep her tires on the road, where they belong. 😹
