Well, EREV may currently have more reservations I wouldn’t be too terribly concerned about it as reservations still aren’t guaranteed that people will convert them to orders and when they start sending out, the order forms were request or whatever you wanna call them people still have the chance to choose all Electric and if we assume that they send them out in batches, it would be slowly building an amount of vehicles that they would just be setting aside if all Electric buyers have to keep waiting, but have already locked in their orderNot sure if this has already been shared but looks like there been a decision on prioritization made. I’ve always been team EV but now wondering how much extra time I’ll have to wait for that. While committing to a target of 2028 for EREV, there’s not even a bother to mention if the EV model will happen in the year…
I'm happy with this decision. I volunteer as tribute for testing. that way everyone else gets better vehicles. Not sure if this has already been shared but looks like there been a decision on prioritization made. I would volunteer to do testing, and showing off, in the harsh New Mexico enviornmentI'm happy with this decision. I volunteer as tribute for testing. that way everyone else gets better vehicles.
I wonder where the off road course is.Seeing the pictures of the mostly-finished training center got me wondering more about where it was, so I did a little digging. In the picture, it's a decently large building, but it's tiny compared to the plant!

I heard theres a point in the course where you jump over 77. They call it the battery impact test with live participants.Currently, everywhere except for where the red labels are. Retention ponds may require a snorkel.
Doh! Ignore my comment in the News thread.Looks like we have a February production center update

There have been so many forum volunteers to drive Scouts that Scout negotiated with the NHTSA to forego formal crash testing if the live participants survive the jump. Should save Scout a lot of money in regulatory BS.I heard theres a point in the course where you jump over 77. They call it the battery impact test with live participants.

I’ve thought the same thing. The modern processing I saw at BMW makes me believe they could all but run any of the 4 variations with little to no change over other than the parts binsI have ZERO knowledge of car manufacturing, but I guess I always assumed there'd be 2 lines - one Traveler & one Terra - that would switch out production of BEV & EREV per model based on reservation demand.
Based on the 85% number in the screenshot, the poll thread might actually be a representative of the overall reservations (which seems wild to me). So even if you do like 3 days of EREV then 1 day of BEV at least you're not delaying a group of buyers completely. And obviously that doesn't take into account the difference in Traveler vs Terra reservations, but I assume changing a line to a different model would be more intense than changing it for a different configuration of a model.
Again, no knowledge of manufacturing, so this could be a very dumb post - and I can accept that. Hahaha
Until AI allows them to take over then there is a whole army waiting to take us out. Where is Sarah Connor when you need herExcellent! I love to see progress! And 700 robots! That would be something to see.
Bridge looks good way in the background of the training center picLooks like we have a February production center update

I Think scout might be using two lines in total. One for Terra and one for Traveler. Unless they are using one line for both. But i know uncle scotty said that because its a very slight change from erev to ev that they would both be installed on one line.I’ve thought the same thing. The modern processing I saw at BMW makes me believe they could all but run any of the 4 variations with little to no change over other than the parts bins
This says even less than what I thought was being reported. It did not even say that the EREV will delivered before the EV - just that the EREV deliveries are not expected to be delayed significantly. Not sure if this has already been shared but looks like there been a decision on prioritization made.
