Same. My original plan was to keep my '22 Bronco until I got back into a truck with the Terra. As a Bronco owner, I’m taking that as a good sign.
4x4, lockers, skid plates, and sexy - yeah, basically a Bronco but bigger, better, and bench seat-ier!

Got bored of Bronco or had endless problems like I did?Same. My original plan was to keep my '22 Bronco until I got back into a truck with the Terra.
Ended up letting the Bronco go a couple of months ago, so I'm in in a Maverick Tremor now.
Thought about changing my reservation to a Traveler instead, but as my wife pointed out (after I dragged her to this event yesterday), every time I give up a truck bed, I end up regretting it (though I did love my Bronco).
Think I'll probably end up sticking with the Terra, and I'm pretty sold on the bench seat now. (It was the other thing I couldn't make up my mind about).
Not really many problems, but...Got bored of Bronco or had endless problems like I did?
Time to “Scout” out something new.Not really many problems, but...
I bought it with a soft top, and ended up buying an aftermarket Hard top.
Had it in for a door-lock recall, and after the work the rear passenger window would catch every time you opened the door (and the dealership refused to fix it).
Put over 70,000 miles on it and started getting antsy about lack of warranty.
(Plus I was about to spend about $2500 on new tires).
The week I started half-heartedly shopping around, I had two blowouts (on the same tire) three days apart.
Took it as a sign...
I would love to see 33s on 18s on the Traveler. Just have a lift a camera and a bunch of wheel and tire combos. Don’t care about the scenery. In a garage is fine!Plz remind me. Have we seen the updated Terra yet, but with the current Traveller tire & wheelset (all black / 35"s)?
I know we have seen the silver and black version, but not sure if we have seen the all black version on the Terra and would like to see that. I have no interest in a ~20% or so efficiency penalty for running 37"s (and no need for a 37" tire - especially in a snowy winter climate).
That would be an easy swap and photoshoot for Scout too (if we haven't seen that yet).
No we haven’t seen it an all black version that I am aware of.Plz remind me. Have we seen the updated Terra yet, but with the current Traveller tire & wheelset (all black / 35"s)?

I'm with you on the wheel swap, but I'm in it to see the current Terra tire and wheelset on the Traveler. I'd be happy even just to see 35s on those wheels swapped onto the Traveler (but 37s are the new 35s so might as well go big!)Plz remind me. It’s interesting. We met up with friends that are local to Disney-he’s a lyrical engineer for NASA and she just sold her 9 year old wrangler for a non-new 4-runner. It’s fairly new but not the new model. She wanted to know all about it because she knows I’m imbedded in this forum but they only know the name Scout via IH, not really anything about the new venture. Needless to say they loved the look of the new Scouts when I showed pics-he drives a Taco. But it made me think, SM should, in the near future run a 20-30 second ad spot talking about heritage of scout and before wrangler/Bronco there was Scout. Then just give a few quick images with a “coming soon” finish or similar. That would avoid any specifics but let people know it’s just as capable, etc…."I overheard a lot of folks who didn’t know about scout and the vast majority were very impressed."
Yeah, I heard one guy turn to his buddy and say "Oh look , it's the electric Bronco"... LOL
My thought as well. I tell myself that’s because of the buck suspension, because in spite of the certain efficiency hit I can’t talk myself out of wanting them.It looks like those 37s are going to rub at full turn and definitely at full stuff, if the suspension as-shown is the same as in production.
Ive heard a lot of that. Every-time i hear it, i say no, Scout is the grand daddy of the all the famous civilian off-roader you know today."I overheard a lot of folks who didn’t know about scout and the vast majority were very impressed."

The only ones that predate Scout are foreign made. Land Rover, Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol, but they did not have a big presence in the US. The possible exception might be Jeep Station Wagon (I’m talking “SUV’s” here). When dad bought his first Scout in 1962 he looked hard at Jeep Station Wagon. It was a lot larger than the 80 but cost a bunch more too.Ive heard a lot of that. Every-time i hear it, i say no, Scout is the grand daddy of the all the famous civilian off-roader you know today.
Lets leave it as that people don't like hearing that answer, because they still believe it was Jeep and Bronco.
Sad life to live not knowing the founding father of civilian offroaders.
Originally they were 18” steelies and are not 19? 20? Inch aluminum wheels that look like steelies. Real shame. The Grenadier has steelies but I thought they were actual steelies. Defenders have steelies, what are those made of?
