From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

This is a whole thread from my trip to SC and my husband and I were lucky enough to get a tour of the Trail-Ready Scout the day before she went on display. I posted many, many, many pictures of her in this thread.
I’m starting the thread for our trip. I’m so excited. The time off has been approved, ballgame tickets purchased, hotel booked, my husband has decided which camera he’s bringing. We are ready! I will post all his pictures here and updates from our trip. Can’t wait!!
Ok, roll call for all forum members attending, so we can get a sense of how many people will be there. 
Should we plan a meet-up at 2pm? Things get started at 1pm and will likely be busiest at 4-6 before main bands go on starting at 6pm.

I will be there - my husband may be in the comic book store though (not a car guy)
@nolen what time did you say you are getting in? Possibility to join for a small group breakfast?
We haven't decided yet - what time are you all thinking? It is about 2 hours from our house and my husband is not a morning person

To clarify-breakfast Saturday, I’m driving down Friday from PANeither am I and Friday I’m leaving house at 6am. Trying to see if Jamie can join us, he said he is trying to but needs to verify when he needs to be at event. Would 9-ish make him insufferable
Still no guarantees (need confirmation the 4 day road trip is still on), but looking good that I will be there with my wife. Adding a side quest tomorrow (extra 4hr road trip) - cell phone decided to commit suicide by rock Sunday.

4am and my phone just gave me the ding I did not want. Trip to Jacksonville is "delayed". NC Scout event is pretty much a bust for me now.

Mrs ROMR and I will be rolling in late afternoon, fresh off long flight from DE. Would love to meet as many of you as possible that hang around long enough. If you bring some earbuds, we should record a community podcast. Maybe Jamie@ScoutMotors can find us a real roundtable

I hate that I am going to miss this event. So many community members are going and the Scout Team is a lot of fun to hang out with. I have no doubt everyone will have a great time and I am anxiously awaiting for a factory/training center meet up for res holders and community members.
