CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I filled up the Supra today. All I have to say is I’m not paying any attention to the cost of gas on this trip. Nope, nope, nope. I really want to go and I can’t do anything about the cost but man this makes my BEV Traveler look better and better.

We didn’t go inside so I don’t know.

Those of you that went to that event at the training center any answers? @nolen I know you went.

Is there a ballgame that day at Segra Park? The experience center there has all that but I to ink they are only open when there’s ballgames, although I’m not 100% sure how that all works.
@nolen and I both got to go to the Training Center opening and got a guided tour around that building. As @cyure mentions, you can see a great deal of the plant in the background from the TC parking lot. My guess is that you can still drive up to the TC parking without exciting security but beyond there, I wouldn't push it (like some unnamed photographer that would do ANYTHING to get that perfect shot!😉🤣) You definitely will not get to go near or into the plant, at least not yet. Personally, just to experience the plant from a distance puts lots of things into perspective. I would love to go back and definitely recommend you take a side trip.

Glad 12 gallons in the Accord gets me 590 miles

Since we are waiting for the August factory update figured I would post a few more factory pictures from our trip.

Just look how massive. I love how they have the orange stripe at the top of the building. I know I want PBY but somehow I have to find a place for Scout orange also on my Traveler.

I love and appreciate all of the photos you have been sharing. Thank you @cyure

Okay I have been getting organized for our trip. It’s less than 3 weeks away!

So the plan is to treat this like we did when we did the first leg of our cross country trip. That trip we went from Bloomington, Illinois to Colorado Springs the first day. It was over 900 miles. We left at 2 in the morning and got to Colorado about 3 ish.

This trip it’s 789 miles to our hotel. We are going to leave at 2 or 3 in the morning. The plan is to bring snacks and drinks in the car and get to either Knoxville, TN or Asheville, NC midday for lunch. In one of those places we will do a sit down fast casual meal. Any recommendations for restaurants not too far off the highway? I need gluten free options, please and thank you.

I’m so excited! Plus I’m looking at this as a dry run for our drive home from the factory in my BEV Traveler. I won’t be as nervous if we have done the route before. Also when we come home from the factory we won’t be cannon ball running it like we are for this event.

May I ask where is the next showing after this one?

It looks like an airport!

Is it wrong of me to want to deny Red Sox and Yankee fans from getting Scouts? I mean, I want Scout Motors to really succeed; but, there are limits.
It’s a public forum. I think as long as you don’t crap on Jamie or his family you can reasonably say just about anything so long as not a threaten or force political commentary so just don’t threaten those b-ball teams and you are in the clear.

Yes, it is very wrong of you to deny anyone the right to get a Scout. It is especially rude to exclude someone just because the are a football fan!

That's a joke, folks. My family is evenly split between being Red Socks and Yankee fans. I will not tell you which side I am on. ;)

The baseball talk made me curious who the MLB team associated with the Columbia Fireflies (Scout's home team). Kansas City Royals! I didn't even know they still had a team, but I don't watch much American League.
