From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. Same. I see more every day. This is a good thing for everyone.
Yesterday, I was following an Amazon delivery van that was still ICE. I didn't even realize how quickly they'd swapped to all EV on their fleet around here, but virtually every Amazon delivery vehicle is Rivian now. Definitely makes sense for fleets when you have a defined range you drive every day.
Agree. Look at all the areas running buses on alternative fuels. And some have been doing that for over 20 years +

I'd be curious to know how Amazon allocates vans, but I'm guessing adequate charging infrastructure at their facilities would be the main factor. Charging lines and lines of vans overnight has gotta suck down some serious juice.
Makes complete sense and we have a ton of new Amazon warehouse in south central PA and unless they are hidden I don’t see a ton of chargers. Don’t get me wrong we have a lot of the new EV versions driving around but guessing growth in our area means they just haven’t been able to keep up with we’ve had like 3 or 4 significant warehouses come online in past 2 years so the ramp up may have exceeded allocation/build rate from manuf.

Based on the RAM frame/architecture, so I assume the EREV could apply equally and this could become a heavier-duty Traveler for those wanting to tow more.

Pretty sure Scout isn't targeting rental car companies so I don't think they'll be competing for the same buyers.
Nope. I am a Mopar refugee. It is sad times at Stellantis from my view.
The only thing that’s keeping me there is my lifetime warranty. If it wasn’t for that I would be gone already.
It really sucks because they used to have a lot of great products and often some very innovative ideas. Now they keep the rental fleets full, the recall notice printers in business and attract demographics that I do not identify with. I do hope they right the ship.
Never-ever will I by a Ram product or anything else from Stellantis. Good luck to them
Dodge announced the EREV pickup (are they still calling it "REV"?) back in 2023 with deliveries in 2025. They still have not delivered the EREV. I would not put any money on them delivering a SUV EREV in time to challenge Scout.
This prototype was spotted in New York Airport and looks like it could be the Scout Prototype vehicle they have been testing. The model looks to be an EV and also has the rear recovery hooks like the one on the Traveler concept cars
Do you mean the Frankenstein mules? Because other than the recovery hooks everything else is wrong.
