Very sleek and implemented! Only think I would add it would be nice to have an area of the bumper with an integrated step to access the roof rack.

Yes, from what I have learned on the forum that’s the most cost effective and efficient way to charge your vehicle. Let it charge overnight and you wake up with a “full tank” every morning. So you can power up at home as well? I’ve always had gas powered vehicles.
After hearing some many complaints about the R2 charge door panel alignment just look at that charge door panel alignment its absolutely perfect!
It will have to have V2L (vehicle to load) capability but looking at the photo showing the outlets it appears it will.So you can power up at home as well? I’ve always had gas powered vehicles.
@Jamie@ScoutMotors so do we get to have those sweet magnets? Lol guess the door needs so help after all these shows?
Jamie said recently that the charge door is subject to getting a facelift, because that style just won’t be able to handle the daily abuseAfter hearing some many complaints about the R2 charge door panel alignment just look at that charge door panel alignment its absolutely perfect!

The hinge on the tire carrier is no joke.
Also interesting how white the metallic steel color looks in this photo.

Well doesn’t that tend to confirm the fact that it’s not intended to be removable? We would either order with or without. With all the way! They're got some pretty beefy anchor points under there too. I see threaded holes in the body, so the mount points should be removable, but it likely won't be easy.

That’s the other thing I hadn’t considered. If you remove it your lighted logo goes away. If you order one without do you still get a lighted logo on the back?Oh, definitely not easily removable or swappable, but appears to be technically doable without cutting. From wiring to a new mask, adding a carrier to a non-carrier vehicle wouldn't be easy. Now, will you be able to order a vehicle with a carrier and take it off at the hinge/pin, leaving the rest of the structure intact? No clue, but hopefully.
That’s a great story for life memories. Oh how we learn the hard way sometimesIt's a fairly funny story - the '93 Pathfinder was my first manual, and my first new-vehicle purchase (post college, first real job, etc.). The term SUV, if it was used, wasn't quite as pervasive around then. My friend and I drove to VT to go skiing. We pulled up to a skiing outfitter to look around. Not long after, some guy walks in and asks "who has a red truck." I replied I don't have a truck but I have a red Pathfinder. Few minutes later he says, "whoever had a red truck, it rolled down the hill into a field across the road." Friend and I looked at each other, then ran out to discover my Pathfinder sitting pretty in the middle of a snow covered field across the road. Lesson learned and an opportunity for 4WL(I HAD set the parking brake so I'm sure it was a slow roll).
That thought lead me to this one- Any idea where the third brake light will be? If it's high on the hatch, you wouldn't be able to see it if you drive with the rear hatch open (if that's even possible). If you can't drive with the rear hatch open, how am I supposed to transport longer things? I definitely need to be able to transport long stuff, sticking out the rear. That’s the other thing I hadn’t considered. If you remove it your lighted logo goes away. If you order one without do you still get a lighted logo on the back?
95% of time I call it SUV. The rest is general “trucks” as I may be talking about both of themNow I have a question.
What do reservation holders of the Traveler call it? Do you call it an SUV or a truck? I call the Traveler a truck when I’m talking about them. Wondering what everyone else does.
We have the new plate design as of about 18-24 months ago now. The genius designers changed the zeros to have a diagonal slant through it (old school). But now the turnpike readers can’t tell if they are zeros or 8’s. Created a messIn some future-focused states, vinyl stick-on plates are legal to use.

Or a set of truck nutz100% getting the rack and 110% if it has lights built in lol
I call it a SUV for the fact it doesn't have a bed and there is another model that is an actual truck. Also, I'm from the south so a truck must either have a truck bed, or more than 4 wheels lol!
It was said in passing to me it might be offset or on the wheel carrier but since not everyone is getting carrier that’s tough to plan for so guessing it’s still a bit up in the air. The signature is off center so why not the plate too ?Looking at this picture, I'm really curious where Scout will put the license plate on the production models. Any info @Jamie@ScoutMotors ?
Under the spoiler. This picture from Nats shows it well. That thought lead me to this one- Any idea where the third brake light will be? Oh no!Or a set of truck nutz![]()
Saw this post the other day showing potential third brake light placement. Also, I think the lighting will be signature enough and I think there is a chance we don't get the lit up Scout emblem on the spare tire carrier because if people order one without it, the cost of manufacturing surely goes up having to make two different harnesses or worse two different structural setups. That thought lead me to this one- Any idea where the third brake light will be?
