What trim levels would you like to see at launch?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Yes. A touch nicer than the OB Bronco would be great. That’s the trim level we had with our Bronco so I want it as capable but nicer interior which-so far, Scout has delivered in the concepts
That's encouraging to hear, haven't seen aTraveler in person(yet.) I went from a JKU Sahara to the Obx Sas. Excited from the pics of the Traveler and hoping it's a decent step up from Bronco. Was looking at Defender, but options got 🤢🤮🫰🫰🫰

I would love to see it kept very simple from a trim level standpoint and let the Scout script logo really shine. You could lean on variants of the alpha convention they used in the past - but this time it's Alpha, Bravo, Charlie. I would not stick that on the vehicle anywhere though, instead, maybe a subtle numeric symbol that corresponds
Alpha - Single bar logo
Bravo - Double bar
Charlie - Triple

Something like this... But probably even more subtle on the tailgate itself, although i kinda dig this regardless, maybe for "Scout trails" or adventures conquered

I agree. I don’t want the names on the outside. Like our Supra. When they had the 2.0 and 3.0 it wasn’t marked anywhere on the vehicle. You had to look inside and know rhe different interior trims etc to tell which one was which. Also the manual Supra the logo in the back is red instead of black so you know it’s a manual. Something subtle like that instead of screaming the name at people all over the vehicle.

Is there anything really wrong with base, mid, upper then maybe summit or pinnacle? Do marketing names really matter. Or maybe just Wow, seriously?, DAMMMMNN and holy Shit

Mid and upper I’m fine with. It’s base I don’t like. It makes it sound like it will be lacking and I just don’t think it will.

I do like that perspective. Keeps it simple and clean.

Oooo

We know the reaper name has precedent.

And they are built in South Carolina…

Seems like a “Carolina Reaper” crossover could be an interesting future limited edition… :P.

(The Carolina Reaper is a famous hot chili pepper, the hottest in the world until recently).

Never thought about the Carolina aspect-brilliant. They can do a Grim Reaper as an all blacked out beast and a Carolina reaper as a speed machine and use reaper twice. Love the Carolina angle-well done ⭐

Carolina Reapers are orange/red right. They could have a Tahitian Red in the regular trims and then a Tahitian Red as a special edition Carolina Reaper. That’s awesome!
