What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I’ve said for years I should have taken Psychology classes as apart go architecture school. Some day when everyone’s up for adventure we’ll have to start a look what I designed or built thread just to drop pics in. Maybe someone will hire us. Since our southern office is Charlotte I’m really hoping the SM exec team connects and requests I fly down to custom design their homes. Would be so fulfilling to create a home for them and their Scouts 😀
While I hate working in Mecklenburg Co (Charlotte area), I suspect you'd find our codes to be, uhh, lacking. We're still working from IRC 2015 :ROFLMAO:

I'm on the other side of that and hate going through existing homes. I always seem to get the crap jobs and can't decide if I'm on an episode of Punk'd or Hoarders. With that said, you're very correct about the stuff people leave out... After 25+ years doing this, I would be very impressed if a customer said something or requested a feature that surprised me.
Exactly! I texted a coworker once and confirmed where I was and told him if he didn’t hear from me in 45 minutes to call the police and I wasn’t kidding. I was creeped and freaked out.
Man-so much weird stuff and agree on requests-short of an actual Mr. gray experiments room, I think I’ve seen just about everything.

Pa is just finally going to 2021 and still pulling certain things out. I know our home plans are significantly different for same models there as we build in PA. And the land development side is so different-kinda for the better but just different. PA is way more strict especially DEP

Retired after 25 years in the film and entertainment industry. Mostly Movies but I had also worked with television. My wife and I now have our business together for 9 years.
Like acting? Adult? Owned a theater? You have me intrigued. Like maybe you are actually Harrison Ford and using Indy to be coy with us 🤣. If you are, glad you left Jeep 🤣

No. Not acting (Harrison Ford.:ROFLMAO:). I worked behind the scenes. Both production as well as post production. Nothing as glamorous as acting.

You are correct..."Indy" is short for Indiana Jones I cannot wait until I get behind the wheel of my new Scout for my next Adventure!!! Happy Friday!
