Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Saw the new Kia telluride Pro X commercial during Olympics. Took a look and surprisingly they are offering 2 matte finishes-a dark gray and a terrain/dune color-both show as a gloss finish and also a matte finish. Found that interesting that they would offer that

I parked next to a new VW Atlas the other day and I finally had a chance to look up the color. It was green and to me it looked very much like Silo Green we have seen on the Terra. The biggest difference is it was a little bit lighter shade than Silo. It is called Avocado Green and I think it would absolutely work on the Scout.

We drove to Chicago yesterday and passed a car hauler with new Chevys. Every single one was either white, silver or grey. Please SM have fun colors. There’s nothing wrong with white, silver or grey, but I’m getting tired of the sea of white, silver and grey.

After I saw that someone was trailering a Lotus. It was what I am calling creamsicle orange. It was beautiful and as it drove off I just saw this pop of orange in a sea of black, white, grey and silver.

Scouts are really going to stand out. I can’t wait to be driving my PBY Scout in a sea of black, white, grey and silver.

Traveler Harvester. I need a pickup. Getting pissed at the prices for the used Rangers I'm lookin at for the interum. May as well buy a new one. :(
Oh good for you.

Honestly used cars are not like they used to be. When we were looking for a used car for my son years ago, like 2019, he had a $10,000 budget. Everything had tons of miles and was ridiculous. The last straw was when we went to look at a $10,000 VW golf and the front fender was held on with zip ties and the new fender was in the back of the car. I asked the dealer if they were going to fix it and they said no. My husband told him up your budget and he would get a loan to help him. It’s not like it used to be and it’s worse now than when we bought his.
