From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Such a great shot, SM has nailed all the color offerings so far. The more I see Silo the more I love it!
I really want to see that color in person but I don’t think it will happen since they are back in Novi getting revamped.
Here’s a question. Once scout has confirmed their colors that will be available at lunch. We will of course be able to see them on a digital model of the vehicles, but would you prefer to see them in person on scale model scouts maybe about the size of a power wheel? So you can see how real light affects the colors. The dummy mules or full-size models could be an option, but that’s a lot more to move from show to show
I think Rivian has panels with all the colors and interior fabrics at their Rivian Spaces locations. Even something like that.
There’s dealers here that have stuff like that, I just don’t think it does the color justice, it’s one thing to see it on block or panel, but it’s another to see how it looks wrapping the entire vehicle, especially if it can be different based on light and angle
Very true. My husband took tons of picture of the Traveler in Chicago and I think this one picture exemplifies that statement. Half blue/half green.
Also when they have the colors on the website if there was a way to have them shown in different lights. Day/night/full sun/overcast. As well as an animation that you can spin around so you can see the color in different angles.
IMO Scout is in a prime position to use colors as a differentiator. Rivian's palette is mostly drab greyscale stuff and IMO customers are absolutely ready for a change.
Rivian does have some brighter colors but it’s more one or two. If Scout really went retro and had black white and grey and then 5 or 6 colors colors that would be amazing and really eye catching.
Maybe because I’m in design I’d want to see each of them in full size. I’ve successfully ordered vehicle with non typical color combos etc… and always loved them and gotten compliments. That said, due to the simplicity of body panels and having seen the pacific blue in person and how many shades it appears to be depending on shade and sunlight I’d want to see them in person. The Tahitian red has been pretty true looking in photos vs the real thing but knowing the multi-color coats and colored metallics they are using I’d only feel comfortable seeing them in person on at least half if not a full vehicle. SM has stepped up the colors and because of that lighting will play a huge impact so in person at 2-pm, 5pm during winter moths to see shade and sunlight with sun at a lower angle in the sky
I agree but at the same time the grayed colors are safe to most people. It’s a tough guess on colors.
How about Scout's color offerings being half "standard" and the other half bright, more progressive?
